If you're here, you're probably looking for something IF-related.
I've been reviewing games for about eight years now. For the
past year, in particular, I've been working on writing a review for
every game released on the newsgroup outside a comp. If you release a
game and I don't post a review of it, let me know.
IF systems and language analysis
I haven't got anywhere close to the perfect game yet (who do you
think I am, Zarf?),
but I think a lot about the deep theory of IF gameplay, and
hopefully what I have here is digestible but detailed.
Things I've written, or co-written.
My main third
place for the past seven or so years has been ifMUD, a mud mostly made up of
people from the IF community.
- Z-Machine games: These are in Inform 7. See the FAQ for interpreter pointers.
- TADS games: These are in TADS 2 or TADS 3;
the TADS site has
information on how to play them.
