Smoky Pete is a strapping and fearless ex-navy man. When he charges into battle with his brace of pistols, few crews will stand their ground against him, and there's nobody better for getting the cannon-crews in shape. Pete's language is notoriously salty even among pirates, though the presence of a pretty lady tends to reduce him to mumbles. Nobody is exactly sure what led to his dismissal from the Navy, but those who know his straight-arrow demeanor suspect politics or a plot.
