			The measure passes! House Grazene's representatives seem pleased with the support of the colony worlds for this measure, and promise their support for your upcoming bill.

			A week or so later, word filters back to the empire that MQaiaa has been occupied by Grazene troops which landed immediately after the vote passed. MQaia's embassy in the empire files a protest, but Grazene files a counter-claim, pointing out they made a broadcast as required by law and received no response. MQaia's representative angrily points out their sole subspace-radio-capable tower in the capitol was sabotaged days earlier; Grazene responds disclaiming responsibility for the acts of unnamed mercenaries and suggesting it may have been pro-technology insurgents withing MQaian society. And there the matter seems to rest for the moment, though the situation is hardly stable.
