POLITICAL NEWS: Those scrappy colonists are at it again! Welding together an unlikely coalition of Houses, House Prime and its neighbors in colonization have brought to the Senate floor a bill to reduce taxes and do some other things. In response to the bill, a spokesbeing for House Gwyne said "This bill is unjustified and contrary to the policies which we have recommended the Empire enforce. Though Gwyne's hands are tied by the current political process, we have no doubt a day of reckoning will arrive. Soon."

DENIED RUMOR: Military patrols have increased on both sides on border zones of Gwyne/Reeft territory. Reeft has begun increasing their garrisons on various strategic planets; Gwyne, on the other hand, seems to be contenting itself with the border patrols and, if anything, has decreased garrison strength.
