Boumfadour embraces you! The month since House Gwyne left Boumfadour has been one of survey and resettlement, as your House has attempted to gather enough resources from elsewhere to perform the necessary maintenance on the colony without bankrupting existing House operations. Despite it all, you have managed to do some surveys of the surrounding area (the colony is located at hex I14 on [http://inky.org/rpg/agents-maps/boumfadour.html the map included in the game feelies]).

Taking stock of the situation, your colony's assets are as follows:
* The main colony, located at hex M11
** You have also explored hexes L11, N10, and N11.
* A kelp farming peration (ie, a mine which produces Industrial Kelp) in hex N11
* A basic cargo ship
* A novice-level diplomatic unit (located back at the Empire)
* A basic research institution in the main colony
* 10 mega-credits in the colony treasury (what your House was able to scrounge up in liquid capital and arrange in loans (see below))

You are just getting yourself settled when two important messages arrive for the House leadership. The first is from the Imperial Senate, and reads as follows "In recognition of the Empire's glorious generosity in awarding the new colony planet to House Prime in order to promote the wealth and welfare of [...etc, etc...] so that the majesty of the Empire shall not soon dim and yet nevertheless shine ever onwards [...etc, etc...] in order to demonstrate that they are able to fully utilize the planet they have been awarded and in recognition of the aforementioned generosity, House Prime is directed to pay a tax of 30 mega-credits, to be paid 24 weeks from receipt of this message." The second is much shorter, another relay from the empire: "Been contacted by Krazybuys requesting loan repayment; they're asking for 5 mega-credits now, or 1 mega-credit every two weeks until we've paid 8. Please advise."

Time to take action! Decide what you'd like your House and characters to do, and fill in the actions on your [[Agents Of Empire/Turns/1/House_Prime|turn 1 page]]. If you have questions, see the [[Agents Of Empire/Turns/Instructions|instructions page]].
