Proposal

New rule:

Any player may, at most once per day, increase their Sobriety by one when they participate in a "sober occasion" in real life. Sober occasions include: church services, court proceedings, funerals, final exams, and any sort of test required for a government-issued license.

Comments

..., checking the Nomic wiki for proposals that are now ratified and need to be acted on, not actually being drunk, opening the first beer of the day. --vimes 16:39, 6 February 2012 (PST)

Do you need to get drunk in between instances of not actually being drunk for them to count as separate occasions? --Jota 16:43, 6 February 2012 (PST)

I don't see why. You don't get less sober for not drinking. --vimes 07:41, 11 February 2012 (PST)

Voting

  • Fang: Nay. I really don't want to make this game an ARG, and this would be unfair to players with lifestyles lacking in sobriety...
  • olethros: Nay. Too arbitrary and intruding.
  • Jota: Nay. I agree with the other voters.
  • All players effectively vote against this proposal due to its being declared dead.

Proposal Status
