A few thoughts on questions Willem might find the answers to:

  • What specifically made Lady Bellaire choose this exact location for her home?
  • What was she intending to achieve with her work here?
  • What surprised her after she came here and started work?
    • (I have no specific reason to expect there was a particular surprise, but I assume if I ask it, inky will be happy to invent something)
  • Where was her laboratory located?
    • (While this is a logical thing for Willem wonder about, I suspect that A&A&L may have already answered this one their own)
  • If there is something of great power here, what prevented Lady Bellaire from harnessing that power before her death?
  • What would be the consequences if whatever made this place special fell into the wrong hands?
  • Is the thing that makes this place highly desirable part of the location itself (like ley lines or feng shui), or is it some thing that might have been left here?
  • What do the symbols on the picture frame mean?
  • What does the "model" represent or do?

Does anyone have any thoughts on any of these, or any suggestions for other possible questions?
