The mines produce their hyperidot.
The Yoshis regretfully paint over the flame-wreathed avestruz gripping lightning in its beak emblazoned on the prow of Thunderchild and Seve embarks with them and the Thirteen Thieves. Bram takes it easy and inspects the local art and drinking scene.
The Lewison Clarks explore L15, reporting that they have noticed a metal structure and are investigating further. This is followed by an emergency distress signal, and then no further reports.
Finally, Winth proves his value immediately by identifying the Mysterious Machine as an old-Empire terraformer, low on fuel but probably still serviceable. (This requires one turn to get operational, and then can move one hex per turn. Instead of moving, it can instead turn its current hex into a different terrain type. It can do this transformation up to six times before running out of fuel.) For his part, he comments that the Arroyo climate is "bracing" and the views from his window are "extraordinary".

House Actions

Shipping:

  • Professor Winth disembarks from Thunderchild and is shown to his luxury beach house, adjacent to the practice grounds of the Arabian Knights Under-21 Women. Seve recruits the Yowlin' Yoshis and has them disguise Thunderchild as an anoymous pirate ship (hopefully not too hard, as it already was one before we stole it), then they take off to join House Aramin's agents on the rescue mission. Since we're not hauling cargo, we'll also take an Astro-Polo team, just in case.
  • The Titanicus leaves Imperial Market, headed for Arroyo.

Fighting: If there's any, we're ready for it!

Exploration: The Lewison Clarks press on and explore the scree at L15.
