Here's what's going down in Helvetica:

Open Threads

• The waterfall: is there anything significant about it?
• Vampires: How did Lucille become a vampire anyway? Doesn't that imply another vampire?
  • And what does this suggest for Camilla, who was attacked by Lucille but survived?
    • Apparently if she dies within a couple months she'll turn into a vampire and have to be staked
  • Is trouble going to happen on her ride out of town to meet her potential betrothed?
    • No, but it will happen at the bachelor party the night before. Oops.
• Stefan has orchids who drink blood, is that creepy or what?
  • Yeah! And what about that dentist?
  • Is he responsible for the blood-drained corpse they found?
  • Edgardo and Lucea are still hanging out someplace, and Kramer is worried about being in the monastery with all those Vaticines around... are we asking for trouble?
• The letter officially granting Helvetican independence is somewhere in du Sices' library! Will we get to it before Azelma/Elena does?
• Chevalier has a small army planted in Geneva! How will we rescue it?
  • Plus, now he knows that Rudolphe Pervenche isn't really the Baron, thanks to us.
• What are we going to do about Morgana's suggestions?
  • And has Elisabeth Sommers been resurrected already when we weren't looking?
• Brother Etienne is still missing! And is probably evil! And Cujo too! Is that going to be a problem?
  • And what does Guy want with universe blood, anyway?
• Trujillo-the-construct murdered Franz Bergen, but has blamed it on Pedro-the-real-Trujillo!
  • Pedro is hiding at the monastery, but is he safe?
  • Plus, Edgardo and Lucea are blaming it on Stefan.
• Albert des Amis is apparently on the side of Chevalier and Gabriel/Raoul and Elena/Azelma! Who knew? And at this point, what can we do about it?

• Why was Justine upset with Albert des Amis at dinner?
• Adelheid's sleepwalking: does that matter?
• Lady du Sices has disappeared and couldn't collect her furniture, do we care?
• Arielle is depressed and suicidal about her future prospects -- can we cheer her up somehow?

Closed (maybe) Threads

• Why are we dreaming about a blonde Suzanna?
  • Answer: It's Lucille -- but why did he dream her older? And why did he dream about her at all?
• Suzanna and Pierre's family are scheduled to be executed, can we save them?
  • Answer: Yes.
• ...Except Lucille, where'd she go?
  • Answer: She got turned into a vampire and hid in the blackwood wardrobe somehow.
• Who killed the wagon driver?
  • Answer: Lucille.
• Pranks against Trujillo, do we support this?
  • Answer: Of course we do, except for Gert, who is a spoilsport.
• Erich/Franzeska's sister Agathe is scheduled to be executed in Bois-Franc, can we save her?
  • We can try: Mont Saint-Gabriyon Prison Break
  • Yes! Because we are the PCs, and therefore awesome.
• Why does hoity aristocrat Earl Matravers want a revolutionary for a son-in-law? Why does republican bureaucrat Armand Chevalier want an aristocrat wife? Why does everyone want to make Cat's life miserable?
  • So that Cat can get an extra 3 XP for the session. Hooray!
• What is Antoinette working on?
  • A contraption to allow Brawn 1 characters to lift heavy objects
    • Why?
      • To duel Hans and so be able to marry him, that's why.
• Why is Jean Dupin suddenly intent on retrieving fugitives? Who's manipulating him (Nicolette?) and who's manipulating her?
  • Dupin's adopted daughter (Nicolette) is secretly a Porte mage, and he didn't want her discovered. (She didn't know she was a Porte witch).
• Agathe's husband Raoul disappeared, can we find him (and do we want to)?
  • How did Raoul lay his hands on Gert's family wedding ring?
    • Who has the ring now, and can we get it back? (Probably, since Nicolette blooded it)
  • Is he leaving town with Elena?
  • Is he actually a Porte mage?
  • Answers: He is actually Gabriel Renard, and he has been stealing mail (including Gert's ring) and taking on different false names to marry rich girls and then vanish with their money, including Agathe and Camilla.
• Elena: why does she try to get people to go to the waterfall, is she really a fate witch, what is her deal? Is she being impersonated/impersonating somebody? What is her connection to Trujillo, Raoul etc.?
  • Answer: She is actually Azelma Renard a Porte mage, the sister of Gabriel Renard, and supposedly no connection to Trujillo whatsoever.
• What happened to Brother Etienne?
  • What is he sneaking out of the monastery and missing classes to do?
  • Does it have to do with vampires? Or demons? Or blackwood?
  • Answer: He created a potion that turns him into a jerk. Probably Guy Heimlich.
• What's up with Guy Heimlich? Why is he such a jerk?
  • Answer: See Brother Etienne.
• Who was the "Inquisitor" agent who threatened Stefan? Was it Edgardo? Why do they want the body?
  • Answer: Yes, it was Edgardo. As for the body, enh, Inquisitors are snoopy that way.
• Professor Trujillo is trying to animate dead bodies, right?
  • Answer: Yes! But he's not very good at it.
  • Is Pedro an example?
    • Answer: No! But Professor Trujillo is, created by Pedro (the real Professor Trujillo).
  • Is Dead Body #3 one? If so, why is it bloodless? Is that normal?
    • Answer: Probably not. On all counts.
  • He stole Professor Schlegel's wife's body, right?
    • Answer: Yeah. The Bride of Agustin...
• Edgardo and Lucia: do we trust them (of course not), what are they up to, who are they hiding from, do we believe they had no involvement in the vampire?
  • The are agents of the Inquisition, sent to spy on and possibly kidnap Stefan to drag him back to Vodacce.
• Morgana is a tarot-reading robot Andre built with the head of Rosanna Scardanelli (with the help of Erich and Franziska to steal it)
  • What is this society/family (Ten of Pentacles) that Morgana (High Priestess) belonged to with eight other women?
    • Answer: The other corpses in the tomb.
  • Is Lucia involved somehow? Morgana identifies her as a High Priestess as well; Edgardo is a Knight of Swords
    • Answer: Everyone is involved in everything. But Lucia's card probably just means she's a Fate Witch.
  • What does Judgement (bodies rising from the ground), Thief, Death mean?
    • Possibly graverobbing, since she mentioned that when we questioned her the first time
  • Does Morgana want us to steal the corpses of the rest of her (now deceased) matrilineal line of Fate Witches so that Andre can resurrect them in the same manner as herself? (Yeah, probably.)
    • Will we go along with that?
      • We will have to wait and see!
• Nicolette's mother was a prostitute, who Antoinette recognized as an early victim of her auto-executioner.
  • The prostitute was involved with a lawyer -- who is he?
    • Answer: He is Gabriel Renard's dad, making them half-siblings.
