* Baf: Nay. Like Jota, I don't think we should be using rule proposals to add players, but in addition, I don't see a need for the rest of the rule either. Why not let non-players propose rules? Proposal
Only players can propose rules. Fang is a player.
Proposed by

- Matthew: Yes
- Jota: Nay, but only for technical reasons: I'd prefer to use the Revolving Door rule to add players rather than adding them in separate, individual rules, and I'd like to have a firm definition of what a Proposal is (e.g. "What the Heck...") before making the rule that only players can make them
- Baf: Nay. Like Jota, I don't think we should be using rule proposals to add players, but in addition, I don't see a need for the rest of the rule either. Why not let non-players propose rules? If we don't like what they propose, we can just vote it down. I don't think there's much danger of us getting inundated with so many outside proposals that it becomes a problem.
- Roger: Nay; this gives me an uneasy feeling in the pit of my bowels.
- vimes: Nay. Players get in without rules, and we don't have a spam problem.
- All players effectively vote against this proposal due to its being declared dead.
Proposal Status
