Proposal
Four new rules:
- A turn begins at a point in time and ends at a later point in time. A turn belongs to a player.
- The order of turns will be alphabetical by the name of the player whose turn it is, cyclically, so that the first name follows the last. When one turn ends, the next begins immediately unless the game is over.
- A turn action is a kind of thing defined in the rules that a player can do during their turn. A player performs a turn action by editing http://inky.org/wiki/index.php?title=Nomic_2/Turns and adding a line to the bottom of the page describing the action being performed.
- Ending one's turn is a turn action. Ending one's turn causes one's turn to end immediately. If the current turn has been on-going for 72 hours or longer, the player whose turn is next can cause the player whose turn is in progress to end their turn by adding a line to the bottom of http://inky.org/wiki/index.php?title=Nomic_2/Turns indicating that this is happening. If the game ends, any player whose turn is in progress automatically ends their turn immediately.
So spring followed autumn, summer followed spring, winter followed summer, and autumn followed winter, just as they had for as long as man could remember.
