* Rule Proposal. Fae Magic
* Monkey Arcana Proposal Equivomancer
** Each player initially possesses one magic faerie (including any new players added to the game). A faerie can be Newborn, Energized or Weary; all faeries begin as Newborn. At midnight UTC (8pm MUD time), all Weary faeries become Energized.
** Special effect: The player who caused this effect to occur may choose between two options: reduce the score of any contestant by up to 10 points, and reduce their own score by twice that amount; or increase the score of any player by up to 20 points and reduce their own score by the same amount. The player may choose a value of zero but not a negative value, and may not choose a value that reduces any score involved below zero.
** Any player who possesses a Newborn faerie can assign that faerie a name via the Activity Log. That name must not have already been assigned to any other faerie. This makes that faerie Energized.
** Inky (talk) 00:31, 14 May 2020 (EDT)
** Any player who possesses an Energized or Weary faerie can give it to another player via the Activity Log.
** Edited at Inky (talk) 15:36, 14 May 2020 (EDT)
** When giving oneself points as per Rule 7, any player who possesses one or more Energized faeries can choose to invoke any or all of them. This increases the number of points they receive by the number of faeries invoked and makes those faeries Weary.

* Monkey Arcana Proposal Shelter in Place
** Special effect:  Any player who caused this effect to occur is given ownership of this card, and it is not returned to the deck.  The player may at any time return this card to the deck after a different Monkey Arcana card was activated, but before its special effect takes place.  This cancels the effect of that other card, sending it to the deck in lieu of its special effect taking place.

* Rule Melds
** Addition to Rule 0:
*** A Meld is a set of three cards that either all have the same suit or have different, consecutive numbers (in any suit).
** New Rule: Redemption
*** If a player has a meld, that player redeem it at any time as an action. Th[is] adds fifteen to the player's score and returns those cards to the Deck.
*** If a non-player has a meld, any player can redeem it at any time as an action. If the owner of the cards is able to have a score, this adds fifteen to its score. If there are any gold stars assigned to the Cosmic Void, this assigns one of those stars to the player. It also returns those cards to the deck.

** YEA: Jota, inky (though I'm not sure this is usually a good deal score-wise, assuming cards = their face value), lpsmith (You can get points for cards when capturing, but no other time...at least right now.)

* Monkey Arcana Proposal Meteor Shower
** Special effect: If there are at least as many players in the game as there are gold stars assigned to the Cosmic Void, one gold star is assigned to each player. Then (regardless of whether or not the first clause took place), if there are [at least] as many pieces in the game as there are stars assigned to the Cosmic Void, one gold star is assigned to each piece.
** Jota (talk) 11:28, 14 May 2020 (EDT)
** YEA: Jota, inky (should the second sentence say "at least as many"?) [Edited to fix, as per the typo protocol -J], lpsmith
** ABSTAIN: Matthew

* Rule Proposal. Stellar Cartography
* Monkey Arcana Proposal Cat
** The game includes twenty-five gold stars. Each gold star can be assigned to exactly one entity at a time. Initially, all gold stars are assigned to the Cosmic Void.
** If there are any pieces on the board, one of them is chosen at random. That piece is now no longer on the board.
*** At any time, a player who has a gold star assigned to them can redeem it as an action. This increases that player's score by twelve and assigns that star back to the Cosmic Void.

* Rule Proposal. The board (v2)
* Monkey Arcana Proposal Charm Person
** New Rule A: The Board
** The player who caused this card to take effect must choose a player in the game and a[n unresolved] proposal that that player has not voted in favor of. (If there is no such combination of player and proposal, this card has no effect.) If that player votes in favor of the proposal and the proposal passes with that vote in place, that player receives twenty-five points. (This only applies to players and proposals that existed before the event that triggered this card was decided on.)
*** The game includes a board, consisting of a 12x12 grid of squares with two alternating colors ('dark' and 'light'), with 'dark' in the lower left corner.
** Jota (talk) 11:28, 14 May 2020 (EDT)
*** Board squares are referred to by row (number) and column (letter), starting at the lower left square as 'A1', proceeding through the upper right square as 'L12'.
** YEA: Jota, inky, lpsmith
*** Any one square may only be occupied by one piece at a time.
** QUESTION: Can this include rejected proposals that are re-introduced? Or do they have to be current? -LS (If it were re-introduced, wouldn't that be a new proposal? I've edited to disambiguate, but if you think it would be better if it were different, I'm open to suggestions. --J)
** New Rule B:  Board actions
** ABSTAIN: Matthew
*** Every player may perform up to 3 actions involving the board per day for free.  If every other players has performed at least N actions involving the board as well, the player may make N more moves for free.
** New Rule C: Pawn Activity
*** Pawns may be introduced to the board through a player action, and placed in any unoccupied square in row 1.
*** Pawns may be moved forward one square (i.e. increase its row position by one, and keep its column position the same) through a player action, provided that square is unoccupied.
*** Pawns may be moved forward diagonally one square to an occupied square (i.e. increase its row by one, and either increase or decrease its column by one), capturing the inhabitant of that square.
*** If after a player action, a Pawn is on row 12, that Pawn is then promoted to a Queen automatically, without player involvement (i.e. rule 9.4 is not invoked).
** New Rule D:  Knight Activity
*** A Black Knight is a Piece in the game, not controlled by any Player or any other entity.
*** If after any player action, the Black Knight is on the board, it moves in an 'L' shape, two squares in one direction (through occupied or unoccupied squares), followed by one square at a 90-degree angle from the first direction.  If that square is occupied, the Black Knight captures that Piece.  It moves semi-randomly, according to the following rules:
**** It must remain on the board.
**** If it can capture a Piece, it does so.  If it could capture more than one piece, it chooses one to capture at random.
**** If it cannot capture a Piece, its move is chosen at random.
*** Otherwise, if after any player action the Black Knight is not on the board, it is placed on the board in a random unoccupied square.
** New additions to Rule 0:
*** A Piece is any of a Pawn, Queen, or Knight.
*** Capturing is an activity that happens on the game board.  If a Piece is Captured, that Piece is removed from the game board, and half of its points (if any) are awarded to the Piece that captured it, and half to the entity that controlled the capturing Piece (if any).
*** Randomly: Any activity that happens 'randomly' may be carried out by any Player by using any RNG, as long as there is some record of the method they chose (such as orokos.com, or ifMUD).  They must, in that history, indicate that they are choosing randomly for a particular Nomic choice that must be made.  They must use the first result so generated.
** Lpsmith (talk) 13:46, 6 May 2020 (EDT)
** YEA: Jota, lpsmith
** NAY: Matthew
** ADDENDUM NOTEFeel free to propose changes to the above; I'm happy to accept changes and clear the voting.

* Rule Proposal. Pick a Card, Any Card
* Rule Proposal Passing Cards
** To randomly select a card from a set of cards, consider the set of cards to be in standard order. Randomly generate an integer number from 1 to the number of cards in the set. The selected card is the one in that position in standard order.
** New sub-rule under 17.2:
** New addition to Rule 0:
*** A player can do this multiple times as part of the same action.
*** Standard Order for cards is: first all the air cards in numerical order, then the earth cards in numerical order, then the fire cards in numerical order, then the water cards in numerical order, then the quintessence cards in numerical order, then the Monkey Arcana cards in alphabetical order by name. (If any of those categories is not present in the set, then it is not included in the order.)
** New sub-rule under 17:
** New addition to Rule 0 if a similar definition has not already been added:
*** If one piece is adjacent to another piece on the board (horizontally, vertically or diagonally), and one of those two pieces is owned by a player who has at least 1 point, that player can (as an action) transfer any one card belonging to either piece to the other piece and reduce their own score by 1.
**** A player can do this multiple times as part of the same action.
*** Jota (talk) 16:11, 6 May 2020 (EDT)

*** YEA: Jota
** YEA: Jota, inky, lpsmith
*** NAY: lpsmith (I don't think we need to define an algorithm for defining how to draw randomly from a deck of cards.  Everyone knows how to draw randomly from a deck of cards, and when anyone wants to do that, they can use whatever algorithm they want.  I wonder if we even need the 'randomly' rule. Hmm...), Matthew
** NOTE: The "multiple times" bits are so that you don't have to keep rolling the Knight's moves over and over again if you want to transfer multiple cards. [Edited s/tiles/times/, above.] [Also, that is not an issue any more, since the knight now only moves in response to pieces *moving* on the board. -LS]
** ABSTAIN: Matthew

* Rule Proposal. Randomness
* Rule Proposal Queen Activity
** New addition to Rule 0 if a similar definition has not already been added:
** Players can move queens with an action. Queens move like a normal chessboard queen (in any direction - horizontal, vertical, or diagonal, as many spaces as desired, in a straight line). They may not move through or end their movement in squares occupied by other pieces (and hence may not capture pieces).
*** Random: Any activity that happens 'randomly' or 'at random' may be carried out by any Player by using any RNG, as long as there is some record of the method they chose (such as orokos.com, or ifMUD). They must, in that history, indicate that they are choosing randomly for a particular Nomic choice that must be made.  They must use the first result so generated.
** Queen's Majesty: Queens may not be captured. The Black Knight may not move to a square adjacent (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) to a queen (queens, however, may move to a square adjacent to the Black Knight).
*** Random draw: A random draw from a deck of cards is a Random activity that must have an equal chance of picking any card still in the deck.

*** YEA: lpsmith, Matthew, Jota
** NAY: lpsmith (It would be easy to trap the knight into not being able to move at all in this scenario.  I would propose a modification: 'If any piece moves such that the Black Knight has no other legal move, the knight instead replaces the moving piece on the board, capturing it.  Queens may be captured only in this scenario.')

* Rule Proposal. Card and Queen Win Conditions
* Rule Amendment Active Voters
** New subsection to rule 13.1 ("The game includes a deck of cards."): "Only Queens may possess cards of the quintessence suit."
** Modify rule 1.1 to add an additional section: For purposes of calculating majority and strict majority, the total player population is considered to consist of all the [current] players who have been Consenters, Dissenters, or Explicit Abstainers on any proposal in the previous 7 days.
** New Rule: Card Win Conditions. "In addition to all other win conditions, a player may not win unless he or she possesses at least one card of the four player suits (air, earth, fire, and water) and owns at least one Queen that possesses at least one card of the quintessence suit."
** Inky (talk) 14:38, 15 May 2020 (EDT)
*** WesternActor (talk) 08:55, 7 May 2020 (EDT)
** YEA: inky, Matthew, Jota (Do we want to explicitly say "all the current players"?) (I think this is implied, so I'm going to edit it in)
*** YEA: Matthew, Jota (tentatively -- I'm a bit concerned about the consequences for a full co-op victory)
** NAY: lpsmith (enh.)
*** NAY: lpsmith
*** lpsmith amendment suggested change, to make it work with the co-op rules:  "In addition to all other win conditions, the players may not win unless at least two players possess at least one card of the four player suits (air, earth, fire, and water) each, and additionally own at least one Queen that possesses at least one card of the quintessence suit."  I would also recommend suggesting it as rule 6.3.  (Also, perhaps an additional 13.2 defining 'player suits'?)

* Rule Proposal. Pawn Promotion Addendum
* Rule Amendment Revised Scoring and Winning
** New subsection to rule 9.4 (9.4.3): "Immediately discards three cards, each of which must be of a different suit. Cards with no suit may not be discarded for this purpose."
** Replace rules 5, 6, and 7 with the following two rules:
*** WesternActor (talk) 09:09, 7 May 2020 (EDT)
** Winning and Losing the Game
*** YEA: Matthew, Jota, lpsmith
*** Declaring victory is a player action which may be permitted (or prevented) by certain other rules. If a player declares victory, the current players all win the game. Players may not declare victory if any rule prevents them from doing so, even if other rules currently permit them to do so, except as per the Paradox rule.
*** If any entity which is not a player wins the game, then all players lose the game and the game is over.
*** Players may not declare victory unless there are at least three different Queens in play, owned by at least three different players, with at least one identified by a color, at least one identified by a letter, and at least one identified by a name.
*** Paradox: If at any point a rule requires a player to do two mutually exclusive things (such as requiring a player to both take an action and not take that action), that player may instead declare victory. All rules involved in the paradox are ignored for purposes of deciding whether the players can declare victory.
** Scoring
*** If at any point before the game has ended, a majority of the players have a score of 100 or greater, any player may declare victory.
*** If at any point before the game has ended, any entity other than one of the players has a score of 100 or greater, that entity immediately wins the game.
*** At any point a player may take an action to award themselves points. They may award themselves any number of points as long as the number is greater than zero, and the total number of points awarded to a player due to this rule may not exceed the number of 24 hour periods since the game has begun.
*** Any player who has accumulated 1 or more points and violates a rule established by another player will lose 1 point. Any player who has accumulated 1 or more points and violates rule he or she established himself will lose 3 points. No loss of points may take the player's score below zero.
** Inky (talk) 22:26, 15 May 2020 (EDT)
** YEA: inky, Matthew
** QUESTION: How does this change things?  I'm confused -lpsmith
** ANSWER: I think he's mainly just condensing and cleaning up things that already exist, rather than making lots of major changes --Matthew
** Yeah, this is intended to clean things up so I can do stuff like the knight rule.

* Rule Proposal. Passivity == FAIL
* Rule Proposal No Knight is Alright
** New subrules:
** Add a section to rule 16: If at any point the Black Knight would move but has no valid squares to move to, the player who was required to move the knight may instead declare victory. If they don't, the Black Knight remains in its current location.
*** 0.6.1 Explicit Abstainers are players that vote 'Abstain' on a proposal.
** Inky (talk) 22:26, 15 May 2020 (EDT)
*** 0.6.2 Implicit Abstainers are players that did not vote on a proposal, and did not propose it.
** YEA: inky
** Modified rule:
** NAY: lpsmith (blocking the knight seems a little too easy?)
*** 1.1.5 If a proposal has not been resolved after 72 hours from the time it was posted, the voting period automatically ends. No votes may be cast or changed after the end of the voting period. If the number of Consenters plus the number of Explicit Abstainers form a majority of the players, then any player may resolve the proposal by editing the proposal page to indicate that it was approved. If not, any player may resolve the proposal by editing the proposal page to indicate that it was rejected.
*** I haven't actually gamed it out, but it seems like you need at least two well-positioned queens and more likely three or four plus a fair amount of setup, don't you? If it is easy then I agree this isn't a good rule. -inky
** Lpsmith (talk) 10:37, 7 May 2020 (EDT)
*** If the Knight's in A1 (for example), can't you do it with a single queen at any one of B2, B3, C2 or C3? --Jota
** YEA: lpsmith, Matthew, Jota
*** Hmm, that's true, but it seems like this is mostly a problem for corners - if I deal with that (eg, say that the knight is removed from the board in that case), is this an ok rule? Or is it not salvageable? -inky

* Proposal. Scoring
* Rule Amendment Knight Movement Adjustment
** Each player has an associated number called a score. The initial value of a player's score is zero. If at any point, a player has a score of 100 or greater, then 24 hours later, if any player has a score of 100 or greater, those players have won the game. Proposed by inky, May 3, 2020, 8:12 PM

* Rule Pay for Play
** Add another section to rule 14: Players may take additional board actions in a day beyond the free amount by reducing their score (if the reduction would not put their score below zero). The required amount is 1 point for the first additional action, 2 points for the second, 3 points for the third, and so on.

* Proposal. Longevity Scoring

They may award themselves any number of points as long as the number is greater than zero, and the total number of points awarded to a player due to this rule may not exceed the number of 24 hour periods since the game has begun. * Proposal. Amendment to Rule 2: Assigning Blame.
* Monkey Arcana Proposal Astronomer
** All proposals shall clearly indicate who they were proposed by.  Proposed by Roger, May 3, 2020, 9:02 PM.
** Special effect: If this card is possessed by a player or a piece owned by a player when this effect occurs, that player may re-assign any two gold stars of their choice. <s>If this card is possessed by the Cosmic Void or a piece owned by the Cosmic Void when the effect occurs</s>Otherwise, one random player (selected from those with at least one gold star) has one gold star re-assigned to the Cosmic Void.
*** YEA: Matthew, Jota -- But note that once this goes into effect, it'll invalidate any in-progress proposals that don't include that

* Proposal. Amendment to Rule 1: "If at any point during the voting period, the player who originally posted a proposal votes to reject it, any player may resolve the proposal by editing the proposal page to indicate that it was rejected. This ends the voting period."
* Monkey Arcana Proposal Return to Sender
** If the player who proposed the rule votes to reject it, and the rule has neither attained majority support for adoption after 24 hours nor has there been a resolution to reject it, the rule is automatically rejected and the voting period cancelled. Proposed by Matthew, May 3, 2020, 8:53 PM
** Special effect: All cards are returned to the deck.  Any owner of a card so returned has their score increased by the face value of the card.

* Proposal. Amendment to Rule 6
** Any player who has accumulated 1 or more points and violates a rule established by another player will lose 1 point. Any player who has accumulated 1 or more points and violates rule he or she established himself will lose 3 points. No loss of points may take the player's score below zero. Proposed by Matthew, May 3, 2020, 9:04 PM
*** YEA: Matthew, Jota -- But I'm fine if we end up voting it down, inky

* Rule Proposal. Friendly Typo Handling
** Correctable text, for purposes of this rule, means a proposal which has not yet been accepted or rejected, or an entry in the Activity Log. If any player makes an error when writing a piece of correctable text, they may correct it by editing the page (previous text should be left in place with strikeouts, or the change should be noted in square brackets). No corrections may be made after the game has been won. If a player feels a correction excessively changes the meaning of the correctable text, they may challenge it by editing the page (noting the challenge). Once a correction in a piece of correctable text has been challenged, no further corrections may be made to that piece of text under this rule.

* Rule Proposal. Amendment/addition to Rule 9: Pawn Promotion.
** A player [may] take ownership of a pawn as an action; this may be done once per player per game day. The player need not have created a pawn to take ownership of it. No pawn may be owned by more than one player at one time. A player may also use an action to take ownership of a pawn from another player. [The player then "owns" the pawn and adds his/her name as owner to the pawn's entry in the Activity Log.]
** A pawn that is owned by a player may be promoted by its owner to a Queen if the player declares on the Activity Page his or her intent and does one of the following:
*** Forgoes proposing any new rules for three game days.
*** Immediately subtracts 5 points from his or her score.
** When either of those conditions is met, the pawn is immediately promoted [to Queen, and the appropriate changes are made to the Activity Log page].
** A pawn may not become owned or change ownership and be promoted [to Queen] on the same game day.
** No other characteristics [specific to that] pawn are changed when it is promoted to Queen.

    • Special effect: The player who caused this effect to occur may choose between two options: reduce the score of any contestant by up to 10 points, and reduce their own score by twice that amount; or increase the score of any player by up to 20 points and reduce their own score by the same amount. The player may choose a value of zero but not a negative value, and may not choose a value that reduces any score involved below zero.

    • New Rule: Redemption
      • If a player has a meld, that player redeem it at any time as an action. Th[is] adds fifteen to the player's score and returns those cards to the Deck.
      • If a non-player has a meld, any player can redeem it at any time as an action. If the owner of the cards is able to have a score, this adds fifteen to its score. If there are any gold stars assigned to the Cosmic Void, this assigns one of those stars to the player. It also returns those cards to the deck.

  • Rule Proposal Passing Cards
    • New sub-rule under 17.2:
      • A player can do this multiple times as part of the same action.
    • New sub-rule under 17:
      • If one piece is adjacent to another piece on the board (horizontally, vertically or diagonally), and one of those two pieces is owned by a player who has at least 1 point, that player can (as an action) transfer any one card belonging to either piece to the other piece and reduce their own score by 1.

    • NOTE: The "multiple times" bits are so that you don't have to keep rolling the Knight's moves over and over again if you want to transfer multiple cards. [Edited s/tiles/times/, above.] [Also, that is not an issue any more, since the knight now only moves in response to pieces *moving* on the board. -LS]

  • Rule Proposal Queen Activity
    • Players can move queens with an action. Queens move like a normal chessboard queen (in any direction - horizontal, vertical, or diagonal, as many spaces as desired, in a straight line). They may not move through or end their movement in squares occupied by other pieces (and hence may not capture pieces).
    • Queen's Majesty: Queens may not be captured. The Black Knight may not move to a square adjacent (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) to a queen (queens, however, may move to a square adjacent to the Black Knight).

    • YEA: inky, Jota
    • NAY: lpsmith (It would be easy to trap the knight into not being able to move at all in this scenario. I would propose a modification: 'If any piece moves such that the Black Knight has no other legal move, the knight instead replaces the moving piece on the board, capturing it. Queens may be captured only in this scenario.')
    • ABSTAIN: Matthew

  • Rule Amendment Active Voters
    • Modify rule 1.1 to add an additional section: For purposes of calculating majority and strict majority, the total player population is considered to consist of all the [current] players who have been Consenters, Dissenters, or Explicit Abstainers on any proposal in the previous 7 days.

    • YEA: inky, Matthew, Jota (Do we want to explicitly say "all the current players"?) (I think this is implied, so I'm going to edit it in)
    • NAY: lpsmith (enh.)

  • Rule Amendment Revised Scoring and Winning
    • Replace rules 5, 6, and 7 with the following two rules:
    • Winning and Losing the Game
      • Declaring victory is a player action which may be permitted (or prevented) by certain other rules. If a player declares victory, the current players all win the game. Players may not declare victory if any rule prevents them from doing so, even if other rules currently permit them to do so, except as per the Paradox rule.
      • If any entity which is not a player wins the game, then all players lose the game and the game is over.
      • Players may not declare victory unless there are at least three different Queens in play, owned by at least three different players, with at least one identified by a color, at least one identified by a letter, and at least one identified by a name.
      • Paradox: If at any point a rule requires a player to do two mutually exclusive things (such as requiring a player to both take an action and not take that action), that player may instead declare victory. All rules involved in the paradox are ignored for purposes of deciding whether the players can declare victory.
    • Scoring
      • If at any point before the game has ended, a majority of the players have a score of 100 or greater, any player may declare victory.
      • If at any point before the game has ended, any entity other than one of the players has a score of 100 or greater, that entity immediately wins the game.
      • At any point a player may take an action to award themselves points. They may award themselves any number of points as long as the number is greater than zero, and the total number of points awarded to a player due to this rule may not exceed the number of 24 hour periods since the game has begun.
      • Any player who has accumulated 1 or more points and violates a rule established by another player will lose 1 point. Any player who has accumulated 1 or more points and violates rule he or she established himself will lose 3 points. No loss of points may take the player's score below zero.

    • ANSWER: I think he's mainly just condensing and cleaning up things that already exist, rather than making lots of major changes --Matthew
    • Yeah, this is intended to clean things up so I can do stuff like the knight rule.

  • Rule Proposal No Knight is Alright
    • Add a section to rule 16: If at any point the Black Knight would move but has no valid squares to move to, the player who was required to move the knight may instead declare victory. If they don't, the Black Knight remains in its current location.

    • NAY: lpsmith (blocking the knight seems a little too easy?)

      • If the Knight's in A1 (for example), can't you do it with a single queen at any one of B2, B3, C2 or C3? --Jota
      • Hmm, that's true, but it seems like this is mostly a problem for corners - if I deal with that (eg, say that the knight is removed from the board in that case), is this an ok rule? Or is it not salvageable? -inky

  • Rule Pay for Play
    • Add another section to rule 14: Players may take additional board actions in a day beyond the free amount by reducing their score (if the reduction would not put their score below zero). The required amount is 1 point for the first additional action, 2 points for the second, 3 points for the third, and so on.

If this card is possessed by the Cosmic Void or a piece owned by the Cosmic Void when the effect occursOtherwise, one random player (selected from those with at least one gold star) has one gold star re-assigned to the Cosmic Void.

Rejected Proposals

  • Rule Proposal No Knight is All Right
    • Add a section to rule 16: If at any point the Black Knight would move but has no valid squares to move to, the players win the game.
    • Inky (talk) 12:43, 15 May 2020 (EDT)
    • Commentary: I think this bypasses the score requirement, but not the requirement to have three queens, since that says that players can't win rather than causing them to win.
    • YEA: inky
    • NAY: Jota (I'm happy with this in principal, but I'm not sure it works with the Rule 6 as written. I'd recommend incorporating this into a re-write of Rules 5 and 6 that made it all explicit.)

  • Rule Amendment Co-op Paradox
    • Replace the second sentence of rule 5 with "By doing so, the players immediately win the game."

    • NAY: lpsmith (I think I'd prefer an 'any entity with at least one point is awarded 10 more points.'), inky (with my tags proposal I suggest making this 'every owner' or 'every competitor', although the latter would be kind of wild)

  • Monkey Arcana Proposal. Housekeeper
    • Special effect: The player who caused this special effect to occur must, as an action, either A) select up to five cards possessed by players or pieces and return them to the deck (so they are no longer possessed by anyone), or B) indicate that they don't wish to do this at this time.
    • Jota (talk) 09:09, 8 May 2020 (EDT)
    • YEA: Jota
    • NAY: lpsmith (I don't like the 'B' option.), inky (B is subsumed by A anyway, but I think this needs to handle the case where it's not played by a player, doesn't it? Like if the black knight captures someone?)
    • ABSTAIN: Matthew
  • Monkey Arcana Proposal. Bartender
    • Special effect: The player who caused this special effect to occur must, as an action, draw as many random cards from the Deck as there are players in the game. That player then gives one of these cards to each player (their choice), removing them from the Deck.
