Helvetica

  • Geneva: baronial seat and capital, set among mountains on the shores of Lake Lorraine.
    • Geneva College, formerly Geneva Girls' Finishing School; centre of the action. Employs Gert, Hans, Arvid.
    • Schloss Shriftsteller, home of the Baron.
    • Mysterious Waterfall of Mystery (see: Elena). Apparently mundane, but embroiled in fate-witch plots.
  • Mt. Schaedelbrecher. Overlooks the main pass from Geneva to Eisen; houses Saint Alsace monastery (from whence Brother Etienne, Cujo).
  • The Schwarzen: big spooky forest, getting slightly less spooky at the edges. Eventually leads into Montaigne and Eisen.

Montaigne

  • Sices Province. Economically reliant on timber and carpentry.
    • Bois-Franc. Closest significant Montaigne town to Geneva; about a day's journey away. PCs no longer welcome there due to prison break.
      • Home of Nicolette and her father, Judge Dupin
      • Guillotine factory. One former owner, only slightly exploded.
      • Prison. Imperfectly escape-proof.
    • Mont Saint-Gabriyon. Provincial seat of Sices; about two days from Geneva. PCs no longer welcome there due to an entirely different prison break.
      • 5 rue Plumet, fancy home of Armand Chevalier.
      • du Sices mansion, currently uninhabited; former home of Lady du Sices. Chevalier has his eye on it.
      • Prison. Demonstrably insecure.

Eisen

  • Wische
    • Academy of St. Martin in the Fields: Gert and Arvid used to work here

Elsewhere

  • Hereford. Profitably rural Avalonian shire. Cat: still not Duchess.
