Overview

This is the bill Grazene introduces for a vote. Your House can vote in favor, vote against, attempt to delay the vote, or not vote.

Bill Text

The important points of the bill are as follows:

  • Insufficiently settled worlds are now legally free for colonization by nearby Houses
  • A House can determine whether a world is insufficiently settled by making a subspace radio broadcast to the world from an orbiting ship; if the broadcast is not responded to within a week, the planet is free for colonization
  • Houses which settle worlds in such a manner receive a 5 mega-credit tax break to reward them for making more productive use of the land and creating a larger tax base for the Empire

Voting

  • Advantage: Votes in favour, but tries to sneak a rider or two on.
  • Aramin: Votes in favor
  • Intrepid: House Intrepid votes IN FAVOUR of The Grazene Homesteading Bill.
  • Prime: Votes in favor
