- Research: Applications of teleportation technology: let's use it to make our producers cheaper or more efficient by teleporting raw materials directly out of the ground/trees/etc.
- Building: We upgrade our Unsorted Crystals processing facility from rank-1 to the rank-2 Riju Industrial Complex. Jude and Rick assist, lowering the cost from 5Mc to 3Mc. We also take out a 10Mc Krazybuys loan (requiring 12Mc to be paid back in eight turns) to build a rank-1 Metal mine in N11 for 5Mc and the Starfarer Crystal Garden And Wilderness Preserve (a rank-1 Unsorted Crystals mine) in P12 for 5Mc.

- Trading: We accept a shipment of 4 units of Industrial Kelp from House Prime, with the promise that we will produce 1 unit of Ndoggahyde for them.
- Politics: Reig follows up on the Grazene contact, attempting to get them to modify their proposed bill to have the subspace radio clause in it, and looks into the rumor he heard about a transportation deal (if it isn't already taken). He then contacts Houses Lavo and Caterina to try to discover what they might want in exchange for their support for the Prime Bill To Go Easy On The Colonists.

- Rick engages a recalcitrant replacement heterodynamic agitation unit in combat, ultimately forcing it to bend to his will -- single-handedly doing the work of any six lesser maintenance engineers.
