Rafael checks out L10 (and K11 too if L10 is a rank 1 instead of 2, I can't tell from the map).

Research looks into satellite technology gizmos or sensors to make exploration less blind, perhaps giving an general idea where the Good Stuff is or giving explorers a notion of what they might find in adjacent hexes from their current one or something.
Diplomat goes to Falus.

Results

The kelp farm produces kelp, and four units are shipped to Aramin. The research group researches.

Rafael explores L10 (which we can call a beach, sure) and K11: in the first hex, he discovers signs of a hastily-disassembled installation (concrete platforms sunk into the beach, stray girders rusted by the sea air, some batteries and wiring), while in K11, a diplomatic encounter with a band of wandering crab-warriors goes bad, and he is pinched severely (injured units can be healed back at the colony; an injured unit is destroyed if injured a second time).

Dark explores O13 (which is rank 3), discovering something quite unusual: a floating artificial island, the buildings long-overgrown with kelp -- no doubt a relic of the ancient days of the empire.

Silentus works in secrecy, as usual.
