How big is the skiff, and how many people man it? And how are the crates stacked inside it? I'm wondering if it's reasonable to try to tip it, or tip out some crates, or whether just to follow it. And do I know Aernoud's in the crate? --Lucian

GM: The skiff currently has one person in it and about ten crates, and is more or less fully loaded at this point (so crates stacked on top of crates), though probably one or two more people can climb onboard (certainly the dockworkers are climbing on and off as part of loading, and maybe some of they will stay when it casts off?). The skiff isn't built for rough waters or long journeys -- it's more like something used for short-range transport from dock to ship or dock to warehouse. That said, it's probably going to be hard to tip just because it's big and flat and (relatively) loaded down. It is possible you could tip out a crate but I imagine you'd have to climb onto the skiff to do it. And I think you can assume whatever level of knowledge you want about Aernoud that would make it interesting -- you can have been peeking through the cracks in the dock or something, or not, as you like.
