Fireworks Tent

Aernoud flings open the flap of the fireworks tent. It's cramped with racks of fireworks, casks of extra gunpowder, piles of fuses, and so on, ready to be pulled out later in the evening. Tied to a rack is one of the fireworks technicians; against the back wall of the tent are Ruud and the two Boys; and in the middle of the room is a snarl of fuses leading to the aforementioned racks of fireworks -- apparently you're right in the middle of an attempt to get the entertainment started early. Ruud recoils as Aernoud enters. "Damn!" he says. "You two get the drill into the wagon -- I'll handle things here." Holding an unlit torch in one hand like a club, he rushes towards Aernoud.

Fountain

Antheunis rocks the fountain back and forth, struggling to get it off its moorings without looking like he's doing so. Finally, it topples -- taking him with it. The splash and tumble isn't so bad, but when he rubs the water from his eyes and looks up, there's two grinning specimens of the best of East Arsebrouc looking down at him. "Well well well," says one. "Looks like half the work is done for us -- let's get this into the wagon and get out of here."
