Ghogg says, "In any case, you hear bodies being dragged"

Ghogg says (to Charles), "nobody there...there's a big blood spot though"
Ghogg says (to Era), "ok"
DiegoValdez is being dragged away. For trying to aid a friend. Hah, and you didn't even have to activate his hubris.

Bjorg stands ready to charge out and join a fray if need be, but has little else to do.

Eolo also glances out into the corridor, then steps fully out if it's empty.
Federico says (to Eolo), "It's quiet."

CharlesAlgun steps out intot he hallway, and looks at the bloody area.

Ghogg says (to Diego), "also, you are sort of vaguely conscious...you feel your body being dragged outside, then inside, then thumped down onto the floor somewhere"
Eolo says, "I suppose."
Federico motions Eolo over to the door.
Bjorg sees that the pirates are gone, and steps out into the hallway to find the others.
Eolo goes out also.

CharlesAlgun looks at the floor and the blood, and tries to figure out which way they were dragged.
Eolo says, "so."
DiegoValdez tries to make out where he is.
Bjorg curses in the Vesten tongue.
Ghogg says (to CharlesAlgun), "it looks like they were dragged down the SE hall"
[Crows-Nest] Duchess isn't sure who is the fool, Diego or Jack. Wasn't it Jack that alsmot got killed?
Ghogg says (to Diego), "you feel a cool floor at your face, some people talking in Crescent"
Federico says, "Jack certainly provided a distraction."
Eolo says, "and we want to go the other way."
CharlesAlgun motions to the southeast. "They seem to have gone that way."
DiegoValdez glances at his injured shoulder and hopes he left a trail. Bah, not too likely....
Eolo says, "now would probably be an excellent time to locate the boat."
Cadiz hears Charles speak, some cautious footsteps, and steps back out into the hallway.
CharlesAlgun asks (of Eolo), "And leave them here to die?"
[Crows-Nest] Duchess asks (of eolo), "boat? what about diego?"
DiegoValdez tries to roll onto his back.
[Crows-Nest] Eolo says, "losers. I say we ditch 'em."
[Crows-Nest] Duchess says, "remind me never to depend on eolo to rescue her in time of need"
Federico says (to Charles), "We should split up. Get the boat ready so the rescue attempt need not be another massacre."
Eolo asks, "there were over a score of pirates, and how many of us?"

Bjorg says, "If anything, one or two of you who cannot fight can go scout out for this boat.  But my honor here has been tainted - these men shall not stay prisoner."
CharlesAlgun listens, trying to hear if anyone else is nearby?
Ghogg says (to Diego), "onto a wooden floor"
DiegoValdez exclaims, "Urrf!!"
DiegoValdez blinks and tries to look around.
CharlesAlgun says (to Federico), "Lovely thought. If we send our Vodacce companion to the boat, I'm sure it'll be *quite* ready for the rest of us when we return."

CharlesAlgun steps close to the east corridor, to look up and down it.
Eolo says, "I'm not saying we should leave them, just that we should consider it."
Keestake says, "just one snag with that 'look for the boat' thing..."
Eolo asks, "if we all die because we try and save them and get stuck on a sinking island, then who wins?"
Keestake says, "we have to make a lotta noise getting the secret passage open"
Bjorg goes down the hallway and takes a quick look in each room while the others discuss the plan.

Ghogg says (to CharlesAlgun), "it seems to go all the way to the southeast through the door at the end"
Ghogg says (to Charles), "that leads outside"

Ghogg says (to Bjorg), "On the east wall is a large (8 feet tall, floor to ceiling) wooden plaque"
Ghogg says, "Only slightly damaged by pirate and orc wepons...it's a piece of relief scuplture showing a harpooner (full size) drawing back his weapon to release at a distant whale"
Ghogg says, "The plaque has been pulled bodily from the wall, presumably by those seaching for secret doors, and leaned against the wall"
Federico searches for anything salvageable among the books.
[7thsea] Ghogg says (to Charles), "no, you can't see out...you can hear guards outside...those were the ones you saw before"
Eolo walks in to see if the harpoon is takable.

CharlesAlgun stands quietly, and places his ear to the door, trying to figure out anything about the guards, like how many are gathered there.

CharlesAlgun heads back up to the EW hallway and enters the first open door -- presuably room 'C', where Bjorg is.
Ghogg says (to Bjorg), "the next room contains a massive oaken table and not much else...also 20 damaged chairs, also some empty bottles of rum"

Bjorg steps out of the room, and mentions to the others around, "There's a mess of bottles in that room if any of ye need a bit o' sharp glass for anything.

Ghogg says (to Charles), "There's the moldy remains of a rug on the floor...three smashed desks...two ruined tables."
Eolo stares at the javelin again.
Eolo says, "perhaps it has."
Bjorg runs into Federico in the corridor.
Eolo follows Federico.
CharlesAlgun searches the desks.
Federico exclaims, "Watch where you're going!"
Bjorg asks (of Federico), "You seemed to stay in that stench-ridden room a while - find something of note?"

Federico says, "A weapon was hidden in the plaque. Eolo has it."
Federico walks off to find Charles.
Keestake makes it to an unremarkable looking door...or at least just like the others...and passes inside

CharlesAlgun goes out to the hall, and crosses into the chapel.

Ghogg says (to Cadiz), "no, it wasn't operated recently"

[7thsea] Bjorg says (to charles), "I just mean wherever Cadiz and whoever followed him went.  i lost track of that totally."

CharlesAlgun looks around. "The others... they have grown smaller, have they?"

Ghogg says, "It's got some broken sofas and another door in the back. Also, one to the west that looks like a corridor door"

CharlesAlgun looks inside for any signs of life, and beckons for Bjorg to follow.
Bjorg says, "A secret passage to a perfectly normal room.  This manor isn't just cursed, it's been built by a madman."

Cadiz says, "Actually, I see no reason why they'd be attracted to the sound of the passage opening."

Bjorg puts his ear to the second door, and listens for anyone on the other side (or peeks through a keyhole if there is one).

Bjorg comes back to the room everyone else is in to the south.  He goes to the west door (to the corridor), opens it halfway and peeks out.

Federico continues following Charles.

CharlesAlgun searches the walsl, comparing them to those in the previous room.
Bjorg asks (of Ghogg), "more doors on the west side?"
Ghogg says, "Yes."
Ghogg says, "It looks like the other corridors you have been in"
Ghogg says, "Actually, d'oh, wait, scratch that"
Ghogg says, "There's no western door in the second room :/"

Bjorg turns to his companions.  "There's another handful of rooms out in the corridor, and it appears to be unguarded.  Care to join me in a quick search?"
Eolo says, "indeed"

Ghogg says, "It's 4 doors on the west side of the northwest corridor"
CharlesAlgun heads through the next north door.
Ghogg says, "Two on the east side...the ONE that connects to  the antechamber and one way to the north"
[7thsea] Federico says, "At this point, I have lost all concept of direction, so until further notice, I'm following Charles."
Ghogg says (to CharlesAlgun), "Smashed tables, smashed four poster bed, ruined floor planking and wall paneling"
Bjorg follows Charles, thinking it better they don't split up further.
Ghogg asks (of Eolo), "also, what are you two doing now?"

Federico bemusedly follows Charles.

Federico searches as well.
Emily materializes.
CharlesAlgun says, "But something tells me there's something special about this room."

Bjorg asks (of Charles), "This 'something' being a thing you cannot explain to us, of course?"

Federico points to a strange discolored panel on one of the pieces of the desk. "Like this?"
