Giovanna says, "A woman with dark hair and eyes, then, and well-dressed."

Pyotr says, "a stocky man with a big bushy beard."

Unlike most of his Eisener countrymen, Maxwell Eigenspiel keeps a clean-shaven face. He is in his thirties, but his thin brownish hair seems to have a hint of gray. Maxwell is commonly smirking at something or other -- but never in the situations when you might expect a smirk.

GameMaster says, "One moment, need to switch an NPC"

Pyotr says, "(also, x pyotr)"

Umberto shakes Eolo's hand

[7thsea] Bjorg says, "btw, with this in-between time skipped, did we split the cash and have time to buy things? or will this be explained when i find out what we're doing? :)"

Pyotr is a short, burly Ussuran. You cannot make out his face due to his large, bushy beard and his fur cap.

[7thsea] CharlesAlgun nods, "Good question."

Vodacce blood is evident in her dark eyes and curling black har; the set of her mouth hints at privilege and disdain. But her clothes, though of excellent cut and material, show signs of wear, and she wears little jewelry.

Umberto asks (of Eolo), "Ah, hello there...I'm glad you could make it, but....I thought I said only one or two friends?"

[7thsea] DiegoValdez says, "I think the answer is Yes."

[7thsea] Federico says, "I think we'll backtrack after the split."

[7thsea] CharlesAlgun says, "Perhaps we'll figure it out from context."

Umberto asks (of Eolo), "You bring...6?"

Eolo says (to Umberto), "perhaps this can be worked out later"

Giovanna watches Umberto thoughtfully.

CharlesAlgun glances around the room.

Umberto says, "Ah, yes, my note was ambigous. I do see you brought the letters of reference, at least."

Umberto staches the papers out of Eolo's hand...

Pyotr stands next to the wall, his hand behind his back.

Umberto says (to Eolo), "How are your crossbow studies? You were quite the marksmen at the academy"

Umberto says (to Eolo), "One of my best students, I'd say"

Eolo says, "I keep up."

Eolo says, "not as much as at the academy, but then, I like to sleep in nowadays"

Eolo grins.

CharlesAlgun examines the paintings.

Umberto says, "Aye, I reckon you be as good as me now."

Federico idly surveys the paintings and books/papers.

Eolo says, "you are too kind, sir."

GameMaster says (to Charles), "Nymphs, dragons, mythology stuff"

Umberto says, "In any case..."

Umberto leafs through the papers

Umberto says, "Hmm...good, good...."

Umberto looks up. "Castille?"

CharlesAlgun glances from the nymphs to Giovanna, but then continues looks around the room.

DiegoValdez looks up.

Maxwell watches the group of strangers with a curious look.

GameMaster says (to Federico), "Popular trash"

[7thsea] Federico says, "Heh."

DiegoValdez asks (of Umberto), "Si?"

Giovanna tries to keep close to Pyotr without being obvious about it.

Umberto says, "Ah, I guess that'll be fine, just don't see too many around here."

[7thsea] CharlesAlgun asks (of Cadiz), "Now, I'd certainly look under the table, but why would I jump?"

Federico eyes the large Vodacce cautiously.

Umberto says, "In any case, let me introduce my friends..."

[7thsea] CharlesAlgun says, "I mean, clearly, the next step is to >LOOK BEHIND PAINTING"

Pyotr keeps an eye on the wandering people, and moves so that they don't have him surrounded

Umberto says, "Giovanna and...Maxwell...and...excuse me, I forgot yours."

Umberto says, "Giovanna was just telling us all the story of how she came to be here."

Giovanna executes a neat little curtsey.

CharlesAlgun bows to the lady.

Umberto says, "Ah, Pyotr. My apologies."

DiegoValdez smiles roguishly and winks to the attractive lady ... bowing courteously.

Pyotr asks (of Umberto), "Sir?"

Giovanna suppresses a grin.

[7thsea] CharlesAlgun says (to Eolo), "Thanks. I just had it done; I'm glad you like it."

Umberto says, "In any case, I'm sure everyone now wants to know of the business I mentioned in my note."

Umberto says, "You see, after leaving the Academy, I travelled abit and ended up affiliated with the Explorer's Guild."

Umberto says, "Now, we have a matter of a...delicate...nature...to process."

Giovanna nods.

Bjorg has been rather unimpressed by all the formality thus far, but at the mention of the Explorer's Guild and the likes his attention is grabbed.

[7thsea] Eolo says, "I didn't buy in"

Umberto says, "Oh, did I bring enough chairs, I'm sorry..."

Umberto says, "Please make do with the stools for now."

Maxwell takes his seat again, looking perhaps surprised at the lack of formal introductions.

Umberto says, "Let's say the Explorer's Society has reasons to want to do an...unauthorized...examination of the find."

CharlesAlgun mutters quietly to Diego, "Is that a surprise?"

Giovanna's lips twitch slightly at this unabashed description of the Marquis.

Umberto says, "In any case, the plan is generally to make a covert entrance by night."

DiegoValdez asks (of Charles), "Does custard pudding wobble when you shake it?"

Umberto says, "And to do as much as possible in the time we have...we think the Marquis has a plundering expedition of his own."

Umberto asks, "So, sound good to all?"

Eolo says, "interesting."

Federico says, "Syrne ruins, I assume."

Cadiz raises an eyebrow.

Maxwell asks, "How far away is this entrance, did you say?"

Umberto says, "Well, it goes underground, as I say, in fact we suspect it may go under the mansion itself the Marquis lives in."

Umberto says (to Giovanna), "Ah, well, your aunt did send a very nice letter."

DiegoValdez wonders if the Marquis might have any, ah, military history with regard to the Montaigne-Castille war.

Giovanna says (to Umberto), "Ah."

Umberto says (to Giovanna), "So I felt...compelled to oblige, you could say."

Umberto says (to Giovanna), "But I really do think you can be useful."

Bjorg says (to Federico), "You'd think that if you were so opposed to this 'Legion' as you say, you'd welcome the chance to plunder from him and bring power to your side of the battle."

DiegoValdez says (to Eolo), "I think part of the point is for us to provide the information for maps, locations, guards."

Umberto asks (of Maxwell), "Well, you accompanied Giovanna, why did you come?"

Eolo says (to Diego), "if he wishes to contract for us to explore the area surrounding the door, he should say so."

Umberto says, "In any case, this isn't a heavily guarded estate, we shouldn't have any worries with that"

Federico pointedly ingores Bjorg's attempt at theology.

DiegoValdez says (to Eolo), "He has. Take notes, he said."

Giovanna says (to Umberto), "Maxwell came out of kindness to me, I imagine."

[7thsea] Bjorg says, "also i'm not sure if Ghogg expected my character to take an interest in Syrne artifacts :)"

Umberto says (to Federico), "I believe at least one of your friends here only holds to the First."

[7thsea] Eolo asks, "so should we cut to the next day?"

Umberto says, "If I read these sheets correctly."

DiegoValdez chuckles.

Federico says, "And the Crescents hold to none, that does not mean that they will not be spared on the day of judgement."

DiegoValdez asks (of Federico), "Padre ... consider this an excuse to get closer to the ones responsible for the decimation of our country. If we can direct more funds to Castille's war efforts, why not?"
