Bjorg says, "Yeeeeargh"

Ghogg says (to Bjorg), "They were going to the Rose and Cross chapter house and the body was discovered a couple buildings west"

Pyotr says (to Bjorg), "Arr, you're bak among the living? can't say the same for this poor sod"

You whisper "Whom does he face remind me of?" to Ghogg.

Ghogg whispers, "the bearded man in the green cloak"

Ghogg says, "The remaining knight glances over curiously"

Pyotr asks (of Knight), "Have you found anything?"

Ghogg says, "He starts following him at a distance"

Cadiz says (to knight), "Couldn't find much, but we did find an oversized footprint."

[7thsea] Pyotr asks, "what's chuck up to?"

Cadiz points out the spot to the knight.

Ghogg says (to Pyotr), "Well, this bloke over here is actin' a bit suspicious...shh."

Pyotr shows the footprint to the knight.

Ghogg asks (of Pyotr), "He's with you?"

Cadiz asks (of Charles), "Hey Charles! Where are you going?"

Pyotr says, "I've never seen anything like this."

Ghogg says (to Pyotr), "In that case, I have a few questions for you."

Pyotr says, "And I've seen quite a few prints."

Pyotr says (to Knight), "good, we have some for you."

Pyotr says (to cadiz), "Come here."

Ghogg asks (of Pyotr), "You are not familiar with the dead man?"

Pyotr says, "never saw him. You guys were on the scene before we were."

Ghogg whispers, "er, ok, that's way too confusing"

You whisper "What is?" to Ghogg.

Ghogg whispers, "you can't take JackBot shadowing with you"

You whisper "OK. Then I'll leave him, if that's easier." to Ghogg.

Ghogg whispers, "well, there's a middle-aged woman you find he looks vaguely alert, what do you say?"

You whisper "Oratory, I guess. Assuming the man was wearing the cloak, 'A man just cae in here -- he had on a green cloak, and he had a beard. He was about this tall... (holding his hand out). Did you see which way he went?"" to Ghogg.

Ghogg whispers, "Interesting story, but your description coincidentally happens to match one we've been keeping a look out for."

Ghogg whispers, "he drags you along through a series of confusing doors before you make it to a room with a large window and tables with papers stacked on them, there's an older man (at least 50) sitting at a chair writing"

Ghogg whispers, "The guard asks the man, 'Sir, is this who you saw earlier?'"

Ghogg whispers, "he looks up at you"

Ghogg whispers, "Look, ya ain't gonna get much with lying when a high gov't official says he saw ya stealin'. Now get goin'."

Ghogg whispers, "He ignores you and goes back to his paper"

You whisper "Hmm. Back when we've seen the bearded guy earlier, there was no tingling, right?" to Ghogg.

Ghogg whispers, "only Bjorg would've gotten close enough to get that"

Ghogg whispers, "hm. in that case there's a tingling, but I'm actually feeling odd about the 30 feet rule"

Ghogg whispers, "anyway, yeah, he's magical"

Ghogg whispers, "I've always been figuring Thomas as a close range thing, there's a couple situations in past games where you would've got something with a bigger range"

Ghogg whispers, "on the other hand, with your party with you, you could say it's meaningless because you get constant tingling"

Ghogg whispers, "well, with 30 feet, in the city of Carleon, you'd be getting distracting tingles all the time"

Ghogg whispers, "I can tell you in that foyer there's at least 3 people who you would sense then"

You whisper "So call it 10 feet for rank one, and say I don't know if GreenCloak had any magic?" to Ghogg.

You whisper "So am I being taken to a dungeon in the same building?" to Ghogg.

Ghogg whispers, "Got another fellow for the lockup, sir. Where should I take him?"

Ghogg whispers, "Eh, what'd he do?"

Ghogg whispers, "Nabbed funds out of Parliament. No head-slicin' or anything."

Ghogg whispers, "he leads you inside a room barred by an iron door and shuts it, then pops open the peephole, saying, about an hour, he'll check on ya."

Ghogg whispers, "it's fairly dingy, got a cot and a pail and some odd mushed up articles in the corner that might once have been food"

Ghogg whispers, "from the cell, people have not been discriminating where they urinate"

Ghogg whispers, "smell"

You whisper "Is there a window?" to Ghogg.

Ghogg whispers, "no"

You privately posed to Ghogg: CharlesAlgun examines the cell's furnishings, searching for anything left behind.

Ghogg whispers, "also, unless you want to do something drastic now, I'm going to idle on you a little bit"

You whisper "Mainly a detailed search of the cell." to Ghogg.

You whisper "If I don't find anything, assume I just keep searching the walls and stuff until my Resolve runs out." to Ghogg.

You whisper "Actually, if I still have my journal and pencil, I write a note to the others saying what happened. Then I stuff it in my pocket, and keep searching." to Ghogg.

Ghogg whispers, "You find nothing special."

You whisper "Something like, 'Bjorg, Pyotr, Jack, Francesco: I've been arrested and locked up in Glenayre. Send help -- preferably someone who can account for my whereabouts earlier today. -Charles'" to Ghogg.

Ghogg whispers, "square-door-peephole thing pops open"

You whisper "'Hello?'" to Ghogg.

Ghogg whispers, "Moustached man peers in on you"

Ghogg whispers, "Need anything?"

You whisper "'Could you have a message delivered for me?'" to Ghogg.

Ghogg whispers, "Ayem, sure. Slop's in a couple hours, in'case you are curious."

Ghogg whispers, "Right, won't be a problem then."

You whisper "'I need this delivered to a ship, it's called 'La Hija del Halcon'. Thank you.'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'Oh, there's one more thing...'" to Ghogg.

You privately posed to Ghogg: CharlesAlgun adds another line, clearly visible on the outside, 'Friends, please reward the bearer of this for his kindness.', before handing it over.

Ghogg whispers, "right, then, and he closes it"

You privately posed to Ghogg: CharlesAlgun rereads interesting passages in his journal, thinking about how those experiences could be told as a story, making notes where it suits him.

You privately posed to Ghogg: CharlesAlgun makes another couple copies of the note, addressing them to the ship, pocketing them. Just in case that one somehow doesn't get delivered.

You privately posed to Ghogg: CharlesAlgun sketches faces and clothing and such on the dolls -- one as a fair maiden, one as a noble and manly knight, one as a jester (male), and one as a young sorceress -- of Glamour, of course.

You privately posed to Ghogg: CharlesAlgun takes another page and makes an extra-large doll, drawing in the features of a nasty ogre.

You privately posed to Ghogg: CharlesAlgun starts using them to plot out a story. 'Near a small town in northern Avalon was the cave of a terrible ogre. For many years he slept -- why he slept is not important...' He sets the model of the ogre under the bed.

Ghogg whispers, "heh. I hope you are recording this"

You privately posed to Ghogg: CharlesAlgun is logging.

You whisper "'In the village, there was a superstition not to go near that cave. No one remembered why, and as generations passed, the young folks grew foolish -- as the young are wont to do.'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'There was one young lady who -- although no ore foolish than her friends, was a bit more daring. She decided there was no need to fear the cave, and so she went in to prove it.' He sets the model of the maiden under the bed as well. 'Her friends were amazed that she had the courage to do this, and they waited ouside the cave for her to come out. But she didn't.'" to Ghogg.

Ghogg says, "'Ah, glad I caught you! They thought this was where you might've been.'"

Ghogg hands over a note

Pyotr hands the note to cadiz.

Ghogg says (to Charles), "go ahead"

[7thsea] Pyotr says, "unless it has picture-writing"

Ghogg says (to Charles), "that is, I didn't keep exactly what you said to write, so say it now :-)"

CharlesAlgun says, "On the outside of the folded note is, 'La Hija del Halcon', and below, 'Friends, please reward the bearer of this for his kindness.'"

Pyotr asks, "and inside?"

CharlesAlgun says, "Bjorg, Pyotr, Jack, Francesco: I've been arrested and locked up in Glenayre. Send help -- preferably someone who can account for my whereabouts earlier today. -Charles"

Cadiz says (to sailor), "Thank you. (tip)"

Ghogg says, "and we'll stop there"
