You privately posed to Ghogg: CharlesAlgun returns to what he was doing before. 'The next day, the ogre came out from the cave. "Graaaah!" he shouted from the edge of the village. "Aurrgh!" he yelled, knocking over a small building. "Urrargh!" he moaned, shambling back to the darkness he came from.'

Ghogg whispers, "About when you are writing down the Urrargh, you hear a similar noise from what is presumably a couple cells down"

Cadiz calls to the other group, "I'll meet you at the prison if this goes quickly; otherwise, back at the ship."

Pyotr exclaims (at cadiz), "good luck!"

Ghogg says, "Trudgers arrive at respective destinations"

Pyotr starts looking around for a guard to ask directions of.

Ghogg says (to Pyotr), "Well, there's the stern looking ones right at the front gate."

Cadiz looks around for that knight guy. (to Pierre) "What was his name again?"

Pyotr sends jack over to ask directions.

You whisper "Am I just sitting in the guard room with the guards, or am I on pause until they lock me up again?" to Ghogg.

Ghogg whispers, "nah, I just have you on pause on the vcr"

Ghogg whispers, "right, take him downstairs, third cell's empty"

Ghogg asks, "Why would he be here?"

Bjorg says, "We received word he was arrested, for what reason we don't know."

PJack says, "All we got was a note saying he was here, and we needed to come vouvh for his whereabouts for this morning."

Ghogg asks, "Hm. An accident, you say?"

Ghogg says, "Well, let me see with the Captain."

PJack says, "thank you."

Ghogg says, "He should know of any new arrests."

PJack stage-whispers (to bjorg), "Do you have any bribe money on you?"

Ghogg says, "Guard goes"

Ghogg asks (of Jack), "Ah, who is this you are inquiring about?"

Bjorg stage-whispers (to Pyotr), "I left most of my cash back on the ship."

PJack says, "Our friend Charles Algun"

Ghogg says, "Right, I'll go see him then"

PJack says, "thank ye much"

Ghogg whispers, "you are taken and shoved into another cell"

Ghogg whispers, "probably someone will come around to ask you about the incidents later"

Ghogg says, "Guard comes back."

PJack waits expectantly.

Ghogg asks, "Looks like a government official in Parliament accused him of stealing. High up, seems like. Sure this was an accident?"

PJack asks, "stealing? Charles?"

PJack says, "Like I said, we were with him all morning"

PJack says, "and we have this signed note from Charles Baldwin, with the Explorer's Society, saying he was with us too"

Ghogg asks, "Aye, and how high are you up in government?"

PJack says, "Mr Baldwin has assured me that he was perfectly willing to come in and testify if that was needed."

Ghogg says (to PJack), "Dunno if that would help."

PJack asks, "What was he accused of stealing?"

PJack asks, "and where?"

PJack asks, "and when, even?"

PJack says, "Like I said, he was sketchy on details in his note."

Ghogg says, "Something in Parliament."

Ghogg says, "He was found tromping around the back offices."

You privately posed to Ghogg: CharlesAlgun takes stock of his situation, noticing that he left behind the paper figures, but did keep hold of his journal. Probably for the best that they were left there anyway...

PJack asks (of Bjorg), "Were we even on this side of town?"

Ghogg says, "I'm afraid I don't know that many details myself, the Captain seemed rather busy with some sort of incident."

PJack asks (of Guard), "would we be allowed to talk to him?"

Ghogg says, "Apparently some sort of disturbance in the southwest tower."

Ghogg says (to PJack), "Think they're all rather busy right now, sorry."

Ghogg whispers, "you see the captain enter the hall"

You privately posed to Ghogg: CharlesAlgun watches him.

Ghogg whispers, "You said you saw this before?"

You whisper "'Yes.'" to Ghogg.

Ghogg whispers, "Please give details. Not sure what we're dealing with here. We sent a squad done, breathing Max reported is gone."

Ghogg whispers, "Bloody mess still there."

You whisper "'The first one was aboard my ship -- I'm the Captain of La Hija del halcon, which is in port right now.'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'We -- some of my officers and I -- were at the Explorer's Society, meeting with someone there, when it happened. We received a emssage that something terrible had occurred on the ship, so we rushed back there.'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'When we arrived, we found a body belowdecks. It was horribly mutilated; we assume it was one of the crewmen, but we couldn't identify it.'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'My officers might be able to help provide more details as well. You can reach them via the ship, which is in port right now.'" to Ghogg.

Ghogg whispers, "Right, I'll check on that. Anything else you know?"

You whisper "'Later, we were travelling toward the Rose and Cross headquarters, when we saw several knights running off.'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'We followed to see where they were going, and found another body not far from the R&C, similarly mutilated.'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'At the Explorer's Society, another of my friends was shot, a arquis of Dore. It was done by a man in a green cloak. This man was in the crowd at the second mauling. I feared that he may have been involved, so I followed him.'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'I lost him when he entered Parliament. I tried to search there for him, but he was gone. It was then that I was arrested.'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'It was partway to the village that the knight and the sorceress realized they were being followed. He was a skilled sneak, but the jingling of the bells on his cap gave him away.'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'"Go away," said the knight. "Go home," said the sorceress. "Going my way?" asked the jester. The three trudged on. Twice they tried to make it two, racing ahead to lose the jester behind. Twice they found him again, less than a mile ahead, awaiting them in the road. "What took you so long?"'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'The three went to the cave where the ogre was found. They went inside, and slayed many small and benign creatures. Then they heard a distant sound -- it was large, and it was muffled, and it was almost certainly sobbing.'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'They sought the source, and the found the ogre. It rose up to face them, running at them, waving its arms. "Gurraorrughhh!", it said. "Let us kill the monster!", shouted the knight. "Let us entrap it for our lord!", called the sorceress. "Lettuce and roast beef on rye!", sang the jester.'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'The knight drew his sword and attacked the thing. It flailed its mighty arms before its face, knocking the sword to one end of the room and the knight to the other.'" to Ghogg.

Ghogg says, "He's been transferred to the southeast tower"

Pyotr asks, "Will he be alright?"

Ghogg says, "This way."

Pyotr follows, having little choice.

You whisper "'The sorceress stepped forward, with a gleam in her eye. In a twinkling, she herself was an ogre. A much smaller and much weaker ogre, unfortunately. She was rebuffed as was the knight, almost without any conscious effort.'" to Ghogg.

Ghogg says, "Right, down here."

Ghogg says, "He leads you into another guardroom and set of cells"

Ghogg says, "Third one on the left."

Pyotr ambles along casually, trying to assess how difficult it would be to get out of here unassisted.

Ghogg says, "I'll be watching you, no tricks."

Pyotr says, "thank you."

Pyotr goes to Charles

Bjorg heads over to see Chuck.

Cadiz asks, "Is he awake?"

Ghogg says, "He's writing in a journal"

Pyotr exmaines Charles for new wounds.

Cadiz exclaims, "Charles!"

Pyotr exclaims (at Charles), "good to finally see you!"

CharlesAlgun exclaims, "You are here!"

Bjorg says, "Hey Charles, good to see you"

Pyotr asks, "where'd you go, you moron?"

CharlesAlgun jumps up, setting aside his journal.

Bjorg says (to Charles), "Good luck, we'll see you soon."

Pyotr says (to Charles), "We'll be back soon"

CharlesAlgun nods, "Go with Theus, friends."

Bjorg trudges out.

CharlesAlgun says, "And return soon."

Pyotr says, "We shall"

You whisper "'The jester stood back. "You're not much of a fighter, are you? Strong, sure, but no style." "Awrogumph?", answered the ogre. The jester circled the creature. "Aren't you going to attack me?" The ogre backed away. "Mrumperough!" The jester stood a moment, studying the ogre. "Nice hat, by the way." "Growremph!" The ogre clawed at its head, trying to remove what rested atop.'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'The knight, who was a bit woozy, got up. "Why, that's a crown! What is this, the ogre king?" "No," said the jester, "I don't think so." He reached up in a flash, grabbing the crown from the monster's head. "Queen, perhaps." The enchanted maiden fell to her knees, where an ogre had stood moments before.'" to Ghogg.

You whisper "'The sorceress gasped. "What an artifact, what a creation of magic -- we most bring it to the lord! It is surely of great value." Something other than honor gleamed in her eye. "Or not," replied the jester, putting the crown on his own head. "Greowr! Rrouaghh! Mphraurg!" The knight, the sorceress, and the maiden fled the cave. And the ogre lived happily ever after.'" to Ghogg.
