Pete says, "Hey, it's two of us." GM says, "Yep." GM exclaims, "I think I can proceed with 2!" GM works a bit more first though. Dara says, "OK, I'm back." GM says, "So, you two were approaching the whirling packet storm." Dara asks, "Packet storm?" Dara refreshes memory via transcripts. [nobilis] Dara asks, "Aha. Do I sense anything from it?" Ghogg materializes. [nobilis] GM asks, "What are you trying to sense?" [nobilis] Dara asks, "Also, do we have Perry?" [nobilis] Dara logs instead. [nobilis] Pete says, "Oh, thanks, I forgot." [nobilis] GM says, "You aren't in the chancel anymore, for reference." [nobilis] Dara says (to GM), "Chancel-endangering.... Ah, OK." [nobilis] Pete asks, "Will your log be safe from disconnections/first person?" [nobilis] Dara says (to Pete), "Yeah, thanks to the magic of 'screen'." Pete says (to Column), "Hi." [nobilis] Pete says, "Yay, screen." [nobilis] Dara says, "OK, I use my Aspect-3 normal senses then." (From GM) Column goes 'Spin spin spin'. There's something forming within it, and you're both aware of what can only be described as a growing sense of power. Like in a thunderstorm. Pete tries to see where it's connected to. [nobilis] Dara asks, "BTW, where are we?" [nobilis] GM says, "Physically? In your chancel. Cyberspace-wise? Out there in the broad emptiness." [nobilis] Dara says, "So 'in cyberspace'." [nobilis] GM says, "This is sort of like touching an anchor." [nobilis] Dara asks, "This is 'Snow Crash'-esque?" [nobilis] GM says, "Or at least I will use those rules until I'm convinced I need other ones." [nobilis] GM says, "Snow Crash-esque, except... mostly empty." [nobilis] Pete says (to Dara), "Except without a world-wide standard VR protocol." [nobilis] Dara says, "So the other side of the SC globe ;-)" [nobilis] GM says, "With lots of windows but few actual structures." [nobilis] Dara asks, "Windows?" [nobilis] Alex says (to Dara), "Awwwk! Word on the street is that Windows is what we deserve." [nobilis] Pete says, "It'll probably be like Snow Crash in a couple years if we market our Chancel tech to the rest of the world." [nobilis] Dara asks, "Where is it being hosted?" (From GM) The column is just there, somehow inserted from above and below. Then, suddenly, there's a sliding sensation and the column is gone. Replacing it is a glittering portal. Ren jumps back, nervously. Pete pings it. Ghogg disappears through an invisible gap in the MUD. You think you may have heard the sounds of chatting before the gap closed again. Dara asks (of Ren), "Can you make out where that came from? Was it self-contained here in cyberspace, or was it from some external machine?" [nobilis] Pete says, "On the Internet." [nobilis] Dara says (to Pete), "The internet is a protocol, not a machine! ;-)" (From GM) PING www.tomorrowsforge.com (xxx.xxx.xx.xxx): 56 data bytes [nobilis] Pete asks, "By 'it', did you mean 'cyberspace' or the portal?" Pete says, "% whois tomorrowsforge.com" (From GM) 64 bytes from xxx.xxx.xx.xxx: icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 time=0.066 ms [nobilis] Dara exclaims, "Yay!" [nobilis] Dara says (to Pete), "When I was talking to Ren, the storm and portal." [nobilis] Pete says, "(Perhaps for the GM's sake I should try not to multitask my shells.)" [nobilis] Dara laughs. (From GM) The registrant is one 'Charm Super Z'. There's an address listed in NYC, a PO box. Dara | % google "Charm Super Z" Pete checks if there's any way into the Post Office database, to find out a real name or other contact info for the PO box. (From GM) While you're investigating it, there's a sparkle around the portal that grows until it's a large, shining facade. It has more than a few overtones of a Las Vegas Casino, though it doesn't seem to be offering gambling or scantily clad women. (From GM) Ren says, "Uh, I can go work on that, boss." He's pretty nervous about the portal. GM says, "Charm Super Z seems to be the entity behind the new MMORPG just now entering open beta: Tomorrow's Forge." GM says, "There are lots of fansites up for Tomorrow's Forge, talking about how it's the Next Big Thing and will totally blow all the existing games out of the water." [nobilis] Dara asks, "Sci-fi? Fantasy? Some other genre?" [nobilis] GM says, "A hybrid! So, fantasy." Pete says, "I wonder what kind of tech this thing would have to be using to have such a strong explicit presence here." Dara looks around. "So, uh, who exactly are they enticing here? Are they just anticipating folks?" [nobilis] GM says, "It apparently has a crafting system based partially on solving community puzzles." [nobilis] GM asks, "What's your Spirit, you two?" [nobilis] Pete says, "1" [nobilis] Dara says, "0, IIRC." Pete says, "I don't think most mortals can even *see* this perspective." [nobilis] GM says, "The portal's open, for reference." Pete asks, "Think we should go in to investigate?" Dara shrugs. "I suppose." Pete says, "Or should we pay them a visit in meatspace." (From GM) Ren says, "I'll stay here! That place scares me." Dara asks (of Ren), "Why?" (From GM) Ren says, "It connected really smoothly. Too smoothly. But I heard something.... creepy when I first noticed it." Dara asks, "What?" (From GM) Ren loads up and plays a sound: a newborn's wailing. Pete asks, "What did it sound like?" Pete says, "Huh." Dara says, "And everyone's phone rang at once." Dara peers through the portal. Pete shrugs. "Nothing ventured, nothing gained, as they say. Maybe who or whatever is behind this will be inside there." Pete enters. GM says, "Shining white light! You'll have to actually pass through to see anything." Dara . o O ( Can't let him go alone... ) Dara follows. GM exclaims, "Okay!" GM says, "You're both in a tiny village of maybe eight or nine buildings, all of wood and built on tall stone foundations. There are people standing here and there, but they're all NPCs." [Crows-Nest] GM has a sudden moment of WHAT WAS I THINKING? [Crows-Nest] Dara chuckles. Dara examines herself. [Crows-Nest] Dara says, "X ME. INVENTORY." GM says, "Dara looks like she last did. So does Pete. You could use guising to fit in more with the natives here. Just a trivial exercise of Aspect-enhanced hacking l33t." Dara tries some shape-shifting. Pete might as well blend. He also scans for anything like a chat channel in the system. GM says, "Dara quickly discovers there are two kinds of shapeshifting she can do. One is based on accessing existing models of monsters, NPCs and PC types. One is based on creating new models. The first kind is free. The second kind is also free for you, but still requires more 'effort'." [nobilis] Dara asks, "Is the template left behind when I shift into something new?" GM says, "Pete finds and quickly absorbs the basic interface controls, and soon realizes there's no global chat, but there's chat for specific areas." [nobilis] GM asks, "The new models?" [nobilis] Dara says, "Right." [nobilis] Dara says, "i.e. Am I a developer? ;-)" [nobilis] GM says, "Yes, until somebody explicitly removes it." [nobilis] Dara nods. [nobilis] GM says, "there's also no guarantee that other players will see you as what you're shifted into, unless they've downloaded the model." [nobilis] Dara says, "eeenteresting." [nobilis] GM says, "but even if they don't have the right model, your results will still be transferred to them. I AM SUCH A GEEK, OMG." [nobilis] Dara says, "But my affect on the gameworld is... right ;-)" GM says, "There's not anybody using the shout system; the game seems to be pretty empty at the moment, except for the NPCs." GM says, "If it's in open beta, it must have /just/ gone into open beta." Dara says (to npc), "NAME" [nobilis] GM says, "It seems to follow the usual MMORPG standard of multiple servers: you're on the server Sennacharib." Pete checks the WHO lists, if there is any such thing. GM says, "The NPC's names are above their heads! You find Sephirrothh in the player listing." Dara says (to John), "JOB" [nobilis] Pete asks, "As in, we find only that one name, or that name just happens tos tand out?" [nobilis] Dara asks, "What are we listed as?" [nobilis] GM says, "Oh, you're listed as well. But other than you, that's the only name in the list. You're listed as 'Dara the Tempest' and 'Pete the Hearthfire'." [Crows-Nest] Dara says, "('NAME. JOB.' is an Ultima IV ref, BTW)" [Crows-Nest] GM says, "I know. :->" [Crows-Nest] Dara says, "Good, good ;-)" [Crows-Nest] Dara asks, "Did the NPC respond?" [Crows-Nest] GM says, "That depends on whether you're actually trying JOB, or just generically trying to interact." [Crows-Nest] Dara says, "I actually tried 'JOB'." [Crows-Nest] GM exclaims, "Nope!" Dara says (to John), "Hello." Pete looks around for any good equipment, then ventures out of the area. Dara says (to John), "Hey, I'm talkin' here." GM says, "The NPC introduces himself, and offers you a quest to go get him some wool fro some local rabbits. Then he offers you a conversational menu where you can ask him about the area, ask him about quests, ask him about fame, and other basic tutorial stuff." GM exclaims, "Pete, you have guised as a hand-to-hand fighter. Bah, equipment! Your newbie equipment will do!" [nobilis] GM says, "if you guys actually want to play the game some, we will generalize it." Dara tries hacking the system to create some wool. Pete cracks his knuckles. "OK, let's go smack some monsters." [nobilis] Pete says, "I'm looking to get an idea of the geography." [nobilis] Pete says, "Which I am presuming will require defending myself against the local fauna." (From GM) The local fauna isn't too aggressive: bunnies and ground-birds and snakes and deer. The area is wooded, and rocky. Some distance out, you encounter your first monster, an insectoid called an 'Antish Gatherer'. As you're battling it, you catch a glimpse of a ruined city off in the distance. Pete directs his efforts in that general direction, then. GM says, "Hacking the system to create wool: Aspect 2 miracle" [Crows-Nest] Dara says, "Heh." Dara does so and gives the wool to the NPC. GM says, "It looks like the fight against the Antish Gatherer is going poorly for you, Pete." GM asks, "Any Penetration on your miracle?" GM asks, "To Dara?" [nobilis] Dara says, "Not the first time I try." [nobilis] GM says, "It fails, then." [nobilis] Dara tries again with 1 point penetration. Assuming I can do that with Aspect 3? Pete uses his Aspect to make guesses and deductions about the AI and the algorithms behind the combat code, in order to optimize his strategy. [nobilis] Pete says, "(Of course, this will only work if the combat system si complicated enough to be gamed...)" GM says, "The combat system is fairly simple, but you remember a few things you picked up from reading webpages and click madly on a bit of the loot you picked up from the local fauna, and there's a sudden burst as two items combine and you survive the fight! But just barely." [nobilis] GM says, "You try that but it also bounces." [nobilis] GM says, "It's not an auctoritus kind of bounce." [nobilis] GM says, "It's more like trying to conjure something with Realm in the normal world." Pete heads back to town for healing, but tries to pick up some wool on the way. [nobilis] GM says, "But it /feels/ sort of like an auctoitus kind of bounce because your backend perception of it is that the code is just ignoring you." Dara whips through the rest of the NPC's conversational system. GM says, "You find out about his daughter, and about his craft. They're not amazingly compelling, though you find out a little about the crafting system, and you suspect his daughter will figure into a later quest." GM says, "Picking up wool is trivial, Pete. You level up! Dah-dah-dah-dah-dah! You get a brief cut scene of being all glowy." Pete gets double wool, then, on the off chance that he can level twice (yeah, right). GM says, "Nope. It seems it was the bunny slaying, not the wool that levelled you up." GM exclaims, "Another avatar zooms past you towards the village as you're fighting the second bunny. It's a guy with a big sword in armor. Sephirrothh!" Pete exclaims (at Sephirrothh), "Hail!" GM says, "He waves and examines you as he goes past, but continues onto the village, where he skids to a halt near Dara." Dara says (to Sephirrothh), "JOB." [nobilis] Pete says, "Hee." [nobilis] GM says, "Oh, something I forgot to mention." [nobilis] GM says, "The game has both text and voices for all dialogue from the NPCs. Players can communicate in text OR hookup to the voice part of the server." (From GM) Sephirrothh says, "Hi. Who are you?" Dara says, "Isn't there a name floating above me? I'm Dara." Dara looks up to see if there is, indeed, a name up there. [nobilis] Dara says, "Also, above Seppi." [nobilis] GM says, "There is." [nobilis] Dara asks, "Is there a clear difference between PCs and NPCs?" (From GM) Sephirrothh says, "><; Charm Super Z hasn't turned on the registration servers for Sennacharib yet. Who are you?" [nobilis] GM says, "Yes." Dara says, "I'm Dara, like I said. I was wandering around and came in through a portal." Dara asks, "Are you a host?" [nobilis] Pete wonders if this will turn out to be a chancel. Pete catches up after a bit, with wool. (From GM) Sephirrothh says, "Portal?" He looks around for a minute and then says, "Oh." He frowns. "Charm Super Z says that's the non-human entrance. Did he come with you?" He jerks a thumb over his shoulder at Pete. Dara asks, "Well, there's no other way in. Who's this Z guy?" Pete says, "Hey. So you're expecting non-humans to be coming in? Interesting." (From GM) Sephirrothh says, "Jeeezus, what kind of N00b are you? How can you barge into this game not even knowing anything about it? Some kids have all the luck." [Crows-Nest] GM says, "It's a surprising challenge to not spell Sephirrothh correctly, and misspell it the same way each time." [Crows-Nest] Dara | [Crows-Nest] GM has a sudden moment of WHAT WAS I THINKING? Pete says, "We know it's a hybrid genre MMORPG with community-oriented puzzles and full multimedia." Pete says, "But that's just some marketspeak I pasted off of your web page, so it probably doesn't count." Dara asks, "Well, so what's here that's supposed to be so cutting edge?" (From GM) Sephirrothh looks annoyed. "I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with you. I guess I can just let you play. Even if you break stuff, it's supposed to be a beta." [nobilis] Pete asks, "BTW, was 'Sennacharib' mentioned on any of those web pages?" (From GM) There's a *shwoooom* sound, and another player, a sorcerous-looking young woman named Darshay, appears next to Sephirrothh. "Maybe you should ask them WHAT they are rather than WHO, Seph. You are so dumb sometimes." [nobilis] GM says, "Um, yes, hold on a minute" Dara says (to Darshay), "Hey there." [nobilis] GM says, "The game's own webpage has a list of initial servers: Sennacharib, Parasiel, Sakhrat, Ambrolam, Ananda, Medan..." [nobilis] Dara asks, "Is 'Ananda' familiar to me from a Nobilis context?" Pete says, "We're not AI, if that's what you mean." GM says, "Sephirrothh bristles at Darshay. "You shut up. I'm the one who's supposed to be in charge here."" [nobilis] Pete says, "We had an Amanda, in the last game." [nobilis] GM says, "By now, yes it is." [nobilis] GM exclaims, "Remember, time passed!" [nobilis] Dara says, "Snrk." [nobilis] GM says, "You may assume some basic interaction with Graph and company." [nobilis] Dara asks, "Graph?" [nobilis] Dara says, "Oh, right, graph." [nobilis] Dara says, "The paper guy." [nobilis] Dara asks, "So who's Ananda?" [nobilis] Dara says, "(or what, I guess)" [Crows-Nest] GM exclaims, "Man, what's the work of me trying to remember his name instead of saying, "Um, Quill, or Squib or whatever that paper guy's name is?" if that would have worked better!" [Crows-Nest] Dara laughs. [nobilis] GM says, "Um, Ananda is a member of the COuncil of Four that rules Earth. Lord Entropy is on it. It's also a Hindu concept about joy." [Crows-Nest] Dara asks, "Do the other names have similar connotations?" [nobilis] Dara says, "(pretend I asked that here)" Pete says, "But something tells me that might not be what you mean." GM says, "Darshay says, "What's the point of having the power if you're too dim to use it?" But she's scoping out Dara and Pete. "Hmmm. They're resistant to my system scans."" Dara asks (of Darshay), "So what are you, then?" [nobilis] GM says, "Perhaps! Man, you can use Google in in game, but not in game? :->" [nobilis] Dara says, "Hee hee" [nobilis] Pete was quietly using google while Dara was asking you questions, and got plenty of Ananda info :) [nobilis] Dara says, "So, they're all Powers. Eeenteresting." (From GM) Darshay says, "We're the ones in charge. Super Charm Z recruited us to oversee the game's functioning. Hmmm." Something pokes at Dara's model. Dara says, "Ow." Dara asks, "Recruited you in person, or over the 'net?" [nobilis] Dara says, "After searches for 'tomorrow's forge' and 'super charm z' failed, I stopped using google ;-)" (From GM) Sephirrothh snaps, "I can't just kick them out or they'd come back in again." He turns his ire on Dara. "Over the net. In person. Both." [nobilis] GM:-) [nobilis] GM is cunning! Dara asks, "So you've seen the guy?" [nobilis] Pete asks, "Aspect check: is Super Charm Z an anagram?" [nobilis] GM says, "Not purposefully on my part." [nobilis] GM says, "and Blah it's Charm Super Z. Stupid Darshay." [nobilis] Dara exclaims, "Razer chumps!" [nobilis] Pete says, "A*ha* -- so Super Charm Z *is* an anagram." [nobilis] Pete says, "Of Charm Super Z." [nobilis] Dara says, "Also, cruz hampers." (From GM) Darshay says, "Yes. It's not a guy." Another figure appears on the other side of Sephirrothh, who hunches his shoulders and looks sullen. This one is also female, but a childlike, and mostly a bright glow. "Hello!" she says chirpily. "Is my portal working?" Pete reads up on the game while Dara and Darshay and Seph are chatting. "Huh. Ananda, Sennacharib... some of these names seem a bit... *familiar*, so to speak." [nobilis] Dara asks (of GM), "No name above the glow?" [nobilis] GM says, "The name is 'Alanna'. I keep forgetting." Pete says (to Z), "Yup. Took us by surprise, though." [nobilis] Pete says, "Aw, whoops. I assumed it was Z. Well, pretend I used the right name." [nobilis] GM says, "No problem. Very misleading paragraph" (From GM) Alanna spins around. "Yay!" Sephirrothh says, "**** this! You girls can deal with them. I'm gonna go make some dragons." He poofs away. Pete asks, "So... are you guys all, y'know, family? Or just friends?" [nobilis] Pete asks, "I assume the Sight and Mythivision don't work here, right?" [nobilis] GM says, "Nope." (From GM) Darshay shrugs. "Charm Super Z hired Sephi and me. From the net, we were recruited, but we didn't really start working until Alanna here was born. She was part of an experiment." Alanna nods. "That was only a few hours ago." Dara asks, "Alanna was born?" Dara says, "Well, uh, welcome to, um, here." Pete nods sagely. Dara asks (of Alanna), "So you made the portal?" (From GM) Alanna sticks her head into some kind of nothingness. When she pulls it back, she's giggling. "There's another kind of baby outside of the portal. He ran away when he saw me." Pete . o O ( Just wait until we tell Ren whom he was so afraid of. ) Dara says, "Yeah, he's a bit gunshy." Pete asks, "Another kind?" Dara asks, "You want to come to our place and be properly introduced?" Pete says (to Dara), "Hey, good idea." Pete asks, "Does the portal work both ways?" (From GM) Darshay nods (to the previous sentence), still watching y'all thoughtfully. "She's a clone baby. Though not in the 'exact duplicate of another'. Genetic splicing. She DOES have a twin, but-- it's complicated." (From GM) Alanna asks, "What's your place?" Dara says, "Judging from Alanna's disappearing head, I say it works for her at least." Dara asks, "Genetic splicing for an online construct?" Pete says, "We've got a fairly decent-sized system online." [nobilis] GM says, "You're both aware that you can just kind of disconnect at anytime and whoosh back to your bodies. Pete, at least, knows how to log out properly. The portal doesn't seem two way, exactly, except for Alanna." Pete asks, "Does the name Jehiela mean anything to you?" (From GM) Alanna says, "Silly. I was born from a mommy and a mommy and a daddy. But after I was born, there was a bright light and then I was here!" (From GM) Darshay looks distracted. "It's on the list of future server names." Dara says (to Alanna), "How interesting." Pete says, "Oh, really? Huh..." Pete says, "I wonder if he knows." (From GM) Darshay, "Jeheila is a person?" Pete pauses for a moment. "Yeah. More or less." Pete says, "But from what I hear, so are Sennacharib and Ananda." (From GM) Darshay looks intrigued. "Fascinating. I wondered how Charm Super Z came up with them." (From GM) Darshay says, "So what's this about your place?" Dara says (to Darshay), "As much a person as Parasiel." [nobilis] Dara says, "Bah, late." Dara says, "Well, you'd have to go through the portal to get there." Dara says, "I'm not sure it'd work for you." Pete says, "Oh, we've got a nice next generation server cluster running over there. Full VR interface available. But, like Dara said, we'd need to go back through the portal." (From GM) Darshay looks dubious. "If I log out, I'm just at my computer." Alanna says, "Oh, we can all go through. Here." She twiddles her hands and the portal gapes open. "Do you think I should make it permanent?" Pete says, "Hmm. If you do, you might get a lot of people signing up for Tomorrow's just to use it. There aren't too many portals like this on the 'Net yet." Dara says, "And if people have to pay to use it..." (From GM) Alanna squeezes her eyes shut. "Hm, that's pretty hard to do. Maybe I'll come back to it later." Dara says (to Alanna), "So you're literally hours old, and can talk and manipulate the program here? That's just weird." Dara asks (of Darshay), "Don't you think it's weird?" Pete . o O (to Ren) ( We've met some folks in here who seem pretty decent. We're going to try seeing if they can come back through the portal to visit. You still around? ) Pete says (to Dara), "Yeah. Ren didn't get the hang of things until he was at least a day or two." (From GM) Darshay shrugs. "It's unique. So is she. And Charm Super Z made changes to all of us. I've always been interested in quantum mechanics, but I was never able to see on that level before." (From GM) Ren . o 0 (Uh, sure... I saw a ghost though!) Pete . o O (to Ren) ( You mean Ri's there too? ) [nobilis] Pete says, "I'm still trying to figure out if we're talking to anchors or nobs." [nobilis] GM says, "I wanna end as soon as you guys go to the chancel, partially because it's almost 1 and partially because I think that will be more fun with more people." [nobilis] Pete says, "Works for me." (From GM) Ren . o O ( ... ) (*sigh* Nevermind) Dara asks, "You can see on the subatomic level?" [nobilis] Pete says, "Ack. I just had a scary thought." [nobilis] Dara nods. [nobilis] GM asks, "What's that?" [nobilis] Dara exclaims, "Stop! Don't give the GM ideas!" [nobilis] Pete says, "That Alanna's arrival on this plane may have involved a messy departure from the other one." [nobilis] Dara says, "I'm thinking it's more likely to be a neural interface like the ones we're cooking up." (From GM) Darshay says, "Well, see is the wrong word. And perception itself isn't very useful. But-- I can't really explain it. There's stuff I used to only read about, that I now KNOW about. And... there's more stuff I'm learning, constantly." [Crows-Nest] * josh_g has joined the channel. josh_g arrives, looking for booty. [Crows-Nest] josh_g asks, "is this a tiny Nobilis, or is there another room?" [Crows-Nest] Pete says, "Unfortunately, only two out of nine players showed up today." [Crows-Nest] josh_g says, "yow" Dara asks, "Interesting. How long ago was this?" [Crows-Nest] Pete says, "Luckily, they happened to be the same two who were chasing the subplot at the end of last week." [Crows-Nest] josh_g says, "ah, excellent" [Crows-Nest] josh_g says, "I have no idea where the story is, but that's okay. I'll just idle a lot and come back to it later, and then make up backstory as I see fit" [Crows-Nest] Pete says, "Heh. Unfortuntely, you got here just in time for the last ten minutes." [Crows-Nest] josh_g says, "ah, aww well" (From GM) Darshay considers. "It really took off when she was born, as I said. But there was build up since Charm Super Z first contacted me." [Crows-Nest] Dara says, "There's logs at http://www.bioc.rice.edu/~lpsmith/IF/7thSea/chrysoula/" [Crows-Nest] Pete says, "But backstory is http://www-bioc.rice.edu/~lpsmith/IF/7thSea/chrysoula/" [Crows-Nest] Dara says (to Pete), "HA ha." [Crows-Nest] Pete exclaims, "Curses!" Pete asks, "So is Z in charge of the whole thing? Or is h-- sh-- er, is Z part of a larger group?" [Crows-Nest] GM says, "nest Nine characters created, but only 3-6 actually playing, I think." (From GM) Alanna pokes dreamily at the glowing portal. "Charm Super Z made all this." Darshay says, "Charm Super Z is an individual proprietorship, if that's what you're asking. There aren't any hidden investors or anything." Dara says, "Hunh." (From GM) Ren . o O (Are you coming out, or what?) josh_g is ready to vanquish his foes and rule the world with an iron, yet caring fist. Dara asks, "Well, who wants to come see our place?" Pete asks, "Let's continue this on the other side -- are you ready?" (From GM) Both young ladies chorus, "Sure!" Darshay adds, "You first, though." Dara heads back through the portal. Pete pops out. GM says, "A moment later, both figures appear on the other side of the portal. Darshay stares around at the impressive cyberspace landscape and says, "Wow!"" [nobilis] GM says, "and that's a fini for today, i think." [nobilis] GM exclaims, "Thanks!" [nobilis] Dara says, "Alrighty." [nobilis] Dara says, "Log off."
