He grew up in the Du Mont vineyards in Arrant, where he was given full rein to enjoy the sun and fresh air. Most people who know him would describe him as suave, handsome, stylish, and debonaire -- especially the young ladies who've fallen under his spell at one time or another. These include the daughters of the owners of several rival vineyards, one young noble who was visiting from Avalon (who needs a common language?), and a peasant girl his parents would never approve of had they known. Unfortunately, a week of whirlwind romance with the most charming young man in Arrant is not enough for some women, and he is occassionally beset with flocks of admirers who are unsatisfied with the memories they've already made. And a few who never got the chance at all -- there are only so many nights in the week... Jean-Sebastien is twenty years old, and has lived long enough to realize there are three things in life that are truly important: love, wine, and friendship. A little adventure doesn't hurt to fill the time in between, of course. He's studied the sword, pistol, and saddle under the instruction of a private tutor, hired by his parents when he told them that he'd like to someday become a Musketeer. He's also had some instruction in etiquette and such things, as befits a son who's moving up in the world. Before he left home, they gave him a matching sword and pistol set, several bottles of wine, and plenty of pocket money. Possessions: His 'inheritance' isn't anything left behind by a dead person, but rather the gifts his parents gave him when he left. The main thing is very nice set of pistols and matching sword (two pistols, one sword), silver handled with gold filligree, complete with a belt with matching scabbard and sheaths for them. (Also, the usual stuff, like a powder horn, plenty of gunpowder and bullets, etc.) This set is worth about 200 guilders (contrasted with a normal cost of 55g for a normal sword and two pistols). Also, he has some pretty nice clothes and several bottles of Soleil Matinal and Douce Feuille from the family vineyards, leaving him about 250g in cash. Also, when he's fully decked out in uniform with the sword, pistols, et al., you'd better wear shades or else roll Resolve against being stunned. Yeah, baby.
