Bio:

Daughter of a really rich gentleman, Aisleen grew up alone. Her mother died in childbirth. As Aisleen's brother, the tiny infant who cost his mother her life, died within a week, the gentleman pampered and cossetted Aisleen with material gifts, but kept her in isolation. She rarely saw anyone enter or leave the large house she lived in.

As a child, she played scores of imaginary games with figures created by her imagination. She considered the sun, the moon, the stars, the wind, and other natural things her friends.

As an adult, still kept in isolation by her father, Aisleen spent most of her time sailing. A few days after her 17th birthday, while sailing in the bay near her home, she was caught out in a storm. As Aisleen struggled with the sails, the sailboat flew across the waves until it fell off the edge of the world. At the boat fell, Aisleen saw a gentlewoman, whome she recognized as her childhood friend, the WindWoman. WindWoman smiled and touched her cheek whereupon Aisleen found herself back in the bay.

To this day, Aisleen is not sure if she had dreamt the WindWoman.
