Librarian gestures vaguely towards the card catalog
Alison says, "The A... A.. Atorcho. I think."
Aisleen whispers to Stella, "Do we want to say the name?"
Librarian says, "that sounds a bit familiar ... let me see .."
Chaz says, "I'll check the catalog."
Aisleen shoots a quick look at Alison
Tyoka grins at the Librarian disconcertingly.
[Crows-Nest] DavidW asks, "The library doesn't have a computerized catalog yet?"
Librarian ducks down behind the counter for a minute. "Ah, here we go!" her voice filters up
Davey pretends not to be with them. Alison does not have three daddies
Chaz flips through the catalog with amazing speed and dexterity.
Alison shoots a 'see, he's helping us!' look back.
[Crows-Nest] Librarian says, "(it's a historical library)"
[Crows-Nest] Aisleen asks, "is it that common?"
[nobilis] Alison says, "(Er, or she)"
[Crows-Nest] Ghogg says, "Arizona Historical Society isn't digitized"
[nobilis] Gerry says, "If we ever get deadlocked trying to make a decision, Alison is going to get to make the decision."
[nobilis] Aisleen says, "no we aren't"
Librarian comes back up with yesterday's newspaper.
Librarian says, "see, here we go"
[nobilis] Tyoka says, "she IS impulse"
Aisleen takes the newspaper to open it
Alison leans up on tiptoes, to look over Aisleen's shoulder.
Tyoka lifts Alison on his shoulders
[Crows-Nest] Ghogg says, "I have no idea about Florida Historical Society. Most of them also make more of a fuss about appointments and such, but I would presume they have a benefactor that gave them a regular librarian."
Aisleen says, "President of the US assassinated, Argentina loses its currency, yadda yadda. How depressing"
Alison says, "Hee, yay."
Librarian points to a small article on an inside page. "ATOCHA DISCOVERED; TREASURES TO BE BROUGHT UP SHORTLY  Mel Fisher, noted treasure hunter, announced tuesday that he had located the wreck of the Atocha ... etc etc ... off the coast near Sebastian, Florida."
Gerry says, "My my, history in the making."
[nobilis] Chaz asks, "Anything in the catalog?"
Tyoka says, "That is cool"
Tyoka puts Alison down again.
Alison asks, "Where's Sebastian?"
[nobilis] Aisleen asks, "who?"
[nobilis] Librarian says, "there are books about the Atocha, yeah -- do you want to find anything specific? if you want to ask a question later about its history, you'll know the answer"
Librarian says, "ah, let's see"
Librarian pulls out a tourist map and locates it for you, about 90 minutes' drive away
Gerry goes with Chaz to speedread some books.
[nobilis] Chaz says, "Last known coordinates, what it looks like."
[Crows-Nest] Tyoka says, "FWIW, I love the idea of Davey turning into a tour bus"
[Crows-Nest] Chaz says, "Heh."
Aisleen says (to gerry), "findout some details of what kind of ship it was so we would recognize it"
[nobilis] Librarian says, "ok"
Alison points to the map, "Oooh, is this where we are, over here?"
Librarian asks, "yes, dear. did you just go to Disney World?"
Davey says, "hmm, Mel Fisher"
Librarian says, "I see your brother there has a sweatshirt"
Librarian . o O ( isn't he a bit hot in florida in spring? )
Aisleen whispers to Gerry, "Also, a floor plan to see where the safe may be?

Alison nods-nods. "Yeah, we saw a pirate ride. But Aisleen wouldn't elt me get any cotton candy."
[nobilis] Tyoka asks, "are you overlooking the fact that Tyoka isn't white?"
[Crows-Nest] Chaz says, "Meanwhile, her real brother is being aloof in the other room ;-)"
[nobilis] Librarian says, "you can get an idea of the layout and recognizable details -- last known coordinates are not that useful since, like, when the book was written it was lost"

Davey sits down iin the reading section and has a look at newspapers to see if he can learn more about this dive

GM says, "Mel Fisher is apparently a noted successful treasure hunter, at least to hear the articles about him tell it"
Stella looks for maritime maps, detailing the local oceon floor.
[Crows-Nest] Alison asks, "That sounds painful. Isn't he made of stone?"
[nobilis] Ghogg says, "This is also Florida, home of car thieves. I wanna see someone try to steal the bus"
Aisleen says, "Does Mr Fisher live in Orlando"
Aisleen asks, "?"
[Crows-Nest] Tyoka says, "aspect 2"
Chaz looks up weather conditions at the time, finds out about the currents in the area, drift over the years, calculates approximate coordinates today.
GM says, "he's doing shipwrecks currently, although he's also been up in the mountains looking for artifacts, out in the jungle looking for lost temples, and in egypt hunting for lost tombs"
[Crows-Nest] Tyoka says, "er 1 but anyway"
GM says (to Aisleen), "at the moment he's presumably in Sebastian"
Alison looks at the article on the shipwreck that the librarian brought out, to see if it has any details on location there.
Davey says, "okay, so I wonder how Cecily's wormed herself into the expedition, and if we can too"
[nobilis] Gerry says, "I smell an anchor.  ANd not just the one attached to the ship."
[nobilis] Davey says, "mm"
[nobilis] Chaz exclaims, "Ha!"
GM says (to Chaz), "you can get a rough idea, but it's hard without knowing exactly where it went down"
[Crows-Nest] Tyoka says, "also, Mel Fisher should be Arizona Jones"
[Crows-Nest] Aisleen says, "ha!"
[nobilis] Chaz says (to GM), "*nod*"
[nobilis] Davey says, "okay, I'm done looking stuff up. when everyone's ready, we can get on the highway"

[nobilis] GM says, "(sebastian looks from the map to be a fairly small town)"
Alison looks distressed as she searches her pockets.
Aisleen says (to librarian), "well, thanks. I guess we might come back again later"
Librarian looks a bit stern. "Dear, you'll never get anywhere in school with those kind of untidy habits."
[nobilis] Chaz asks, "Realm divination to discover closest exit?"
[nobilis] Aisleen says, "hee hee library"
Tyoka says, "'s what I'm tellin' her, ma'am"
Gerry whispers (to Librarian), "In one ear, out the other."
Aisleen hisses, okay, come on, let's get going
Alison looks suitably admonished.
Davey says, "urr, we'll be more than 90 minutes on line to get back to the chancel"
Alison says (to Aisleen), "OK..."

GM asks, "it's getting on late afternoon here -- do you guys want to wait for dusk? or?"
Alison asks, "Where's Mr. Fishing live?"
Gerry says, "I think that Stella might be able to do our best recon."
Alison exclaims, "Maybe he has a good map!"
Tyoka has discarded the sweater, btw.
Davey says, "we should know when the dive is so we have the option of beating it there"
[nobilis] GM says, "well, light's not very, er, bright"
Aisleen says, "if we wait till dusk, we won't have to risk discovery by others. but without light stella is helpless"
[nobilis] Alison says, "(Going AFK for just a couple minutes)"
Gerry says (to Alison), "Mister Fleming is probably in League with Cecily.  We should avoid him."
[nobilis] GM says, "if you were reasonably nearby (a few miles) you could probably say "hey, is there a shipwreck on the seafloor nearby?""

Stella says, "I can create light, I think, but daylight would be more helpful."
[nobilis] Chaz says, "If she can tell the wavelength of light that's hitting it, we can get depth."
[nobilis] Aisleen asks, "can i blow in to the water and create currents to see where it goes and hear where that current hits, and see if itgets the ship?"

OldFisherman says, "that there's Mel Fisher's boat"
Ghogg disappears through an invisible gap in the MUD. You think you may have heard the sounds of chatting before the gap closed again.
Aisleen asks (of fisherman), "whose is it?"
Davey switches to Mythic sight and looks at the ship
[nobilis] Aisleen says, "yeah me too"
OldFisherman says, "he's some kind of treasure-hunter fella"
[nobilis] Stella says, "light-beaming or light-flying to scan the water sounds good to me."
Aisleen asks (of fisherman), "oh? Is there anyone on board now?"
[nobilis] GM says, "we're probably not going to be done by then, but in future sessions I expect we'll get more done, since we won't have the chancel-building part"
[nobilis] Gerry says, "Exactly."
Alison laughs, "Silly name for a him -- you should be Mel Fisher, since you're fishing!"
Tyoka says (to Alison), "hey! That's something for your schook project right there"

OldFisherman scratches his head. "I think he's always got some folks on board, miss. Worried about trespassers, I expect."
[nobilis] Aisleen asks, "can we borrow the ship and head out and do the light beaming from there?"
[nobilis] Tyoka says, "(are we going on after gerry leaves?)"
[nobilis] Aisleen says (to tyoka), "me too. but please do."
[nobilis] Davey asks, "borrow what ship?"
[nobilis] GM says, "yes, unless most other people have to go also"
[nobilis] Alison says, "Mr. Fisher might mind someone borrowing his ship."
[nobilis] Davey says, "I have to go at 5"
GM says, "in mythic sight, the ocean is even more sparkling blue and it's filled with little fish spirits wandering back and forth"
[nobilis] Alison says, "I'm fine for however long."

GM says, "sometimes they see the hook-spirits, who try and bribe them to come out of the water"
Davey whispers, "Little Fish, have you seen a big old boat?"
GM says, "the fishermen, meanwhile, are whispering instructions to the hooks of new arguments to use"
[nobilis] Alison asks, "Anyone here invisible?"
Glim has disconnected.
Glim goes home.
GM says (to Davey), "there's a boat on the end of the pier, you recall"
Aisleen says (to davey), "ask abouta boat at the bottom of the sea"
Davey whispers "way down at the bottom of the sea?"
[nobilis] Stella says, "I can be a beam of light.  Its not invisible, but its not obvious, either."
[nobilis] Alison asks, "Can you get inside the ship like that, to spy?"
[nobilis] Stella says, "sure."
GM says, "the fish sneer and turn away from Davey and/or try and bite his nose as he leans over the dock"
Tyoka asks, "it's that low a dock?"
[nobilis] Davey says, "aw, I forgot"
[nobilis] Chaz laughs.
[nobilis] Davey says, "Critters have been like that since I got all empowered"
[nobilis] Aisleen asks, "hm. for me to join stella i would need creation to be able to become a breeze myself?"
GM says (to Tyoka), "well, it starts out low, yeah, and then gets a bit higher as the water deepens"
[nobilis] GM says, "I think you'd need change to make yourself a breeze; but you could use divination to see what the breezes see"
[nobilis] Aisleen says, "oh right. i can use the wind to hear where things are too"
[nobilis] Davey asks, "hey, could you use that to eavesdrop on the boat?"

[nobilis] Alison says, "And they don't even know we're coming, so they won't have gotten descriptions of us ahead of time."

Alison knocks on the side of the boat.
Aisleen mutters, "mailbox?"
[nobilis] Gerry has to go.  Use Robo-Gerry if there are any obvious locks, etc.
[Crows-Nest] DavidW asks, ""thank goodness for the mailbox"?"

Alison says, "Hello, Mr. Sailor Sir."
Sailor says, "aww.. sorry, kid, we're just busy these days"
[nobilis] Aisleen says, "same goes for Aisleen. Feel free to use me for listening in and stuff, or just flying around"

Sailor says, "tomorrow we're going to go out there and load all the treasure onto the boat"
Alison exclaims (at Tyoka), "It's them!"
Sailor says, "then we're going to bring it back and sell it and we'll all be rich"
Alison asks, "That's neat! I wish I could do that. How do you find a little boat in the middle of *all* *that* ocean?"
Tyoka says (to Alison), "Ok, you were right."
Tyoka (explaingingly, to Sailor), "She's writing about shipwrecks for school - a summer project"
Sailor strokes his chin thoughtfully. "Well, we've got metal detect-- you know, fancy machines -- that do some of it. But mostly Fisher's just got a nose for this kind of thing."
Sailor says, "ah, summer project, eh? I remember how I dreamed about being a treasure-hunter when I was a kid"
Sailor says, "but yeah, we'd been sitting around idle for ages, practically given up, when Fisher showed up one day and said "ok, I know where it is""
Sailor says, "and sure 'nuff, it was just where he said"
[nobilis] Davey says, "totally an Anchor"
Sailor says, "we found it late yesterday, and now we've been loading our equipment and getting ready to go pick it up tomorrow"

[nobilis] Alison says, "I'm thinking of trying to wrangle a look at the maps."
Sailor says, "well, we got charts back in the ship, of course"
Sailor gestures.
Sailor says, "gotta write everything down -- impossible to find anything, otherwise"
[nobilis] Alison says, "But if I do, someone with the Aspect for a photographic memory should go with me, since sailing boats aren't safe for little girls."
Alison's eyes get wide, "Can I see?"
Sailor laughs
Sailor says, "no, sorry, they're all locked away in Fisher's cabin"
Sailor says, "once we start bringing treasure back, then you'll be able to come out and see"
Alison sighs. "Oh... OK."
Alison asks (of Tyoka), "Can we come back then, can we?"
Tyoka says (to Alison), "Right, I think you've tortured the poor man enough"
Tyoka says (to Alison), "sure, we'll come back then"
[nobilis] Chaz asks, "Can I make a Whimsy creation to have him point it out to her, and tell her how far away it is?"
[nobilis] Sailor says, "#belated people can pray to nobilis, which allows for communication with a certain amount of concentration"
Tyoka says (to Alison), "and we'll bring your camera"
Alison waves, "Bye bye, Mr. Matroci!"
[nobilis] Sailor says, "this is the main way anchors get your attention"
[nobilis] Chaz says, "(Or alison could do that with impulse)"
Alison asks (of "Tyoka,), "aside but audible) He's a nice man, isn't he?"
[Crows-Nest] DavidW says, "Apparently, little girls can get away with almost anything."
[nobilis] Sailor says (to Chaz), "point out the wreck to her? yeah, although he's not going to know exactly where it is himself"
Tyoka says (to Alison), "yes, he is"
Sailor waves as Alison and Tyoka leave.
Davey continues do dangle his boots over the dockside chewing his thoughts over
[Crows-Nest] Alison says (to W), "Can you imagine Tyoka or Gerry interrogating him like that and getting results? :)"
GM asks, "so, it's getting a bit later, but still light out for a while yet -- what's the plan?"
[Crows-Nest] DavidW says (to Alison), "Nope. You're an interrogation genius."
[Crows-Nest] GM says, "you should see her with the thumbscrews"
Chaz says, "Well, we could either look for it ourselves, or break into the chart room."
Tyoka says, "break-in is not a good idea"
Alison asks, "What light through yonder window breaks?"
Davey says, "someone should just swim down there and try to get the safe"
[nobilis] Chaz asks, "Can we have Aisleen keep an ear out on the boat?"
Alison says (aside, to no one), "That's from a play, y'know."
Chaz says (to Davey), "I can do that, but it'd be helpful to have a starting place to look."
Tyoka asks, "how long would it take to go down there and check?"
[nobilis] Alison says, "I still think Stella could just try to beam into the locked room and read the maps..."
Tyoka says, "there's several of us who can dive"
Stella says, "I'll go see if there is a convenient window to beam through."
[nobilis] Chaz asks, "Also, knowing that it's 'on the coast', how much of my original calculated are does that narrow it down to?"
[nobilis] Tyoka says, "good idea, if we can be sure the room's empty"
[nobilis] Stella says, "I'll check before entering."
Stella walks behind a convenient wall or some such.
[nobilis] Chaz says, "(also 'close')"
[nobilis] Davey says, "yeah, you can sneak in there and get in touch with us mentally"
[nobilis] Alison says, "The fisherman seemed to suggest that Fisher himself wasn't on the boat, only his men."
[nobilis] GM says, "well, you can figure it's the closer-to-the-coast side; but you'd figured it had to be near shore anyway what with the currents"
[nobilis] Chaz nods.
[nobilis] Davey asks, "where *is* Fisher?"
Alison drops to the ground and starts playing with the sand.
Stella beams around the boat a bit.
GM says, "zip-zip-zip"
Tyoka says, "hee hee"
[nobilis] Davey says, "if we have to wait till morning I can make it really really hard to get to Sebastian if he's out of town"
[nobilis] Stella asks, "any convenient windows to the map room?"
GM says, "Stella bounces off a shiny bit of varnish, through a window, off a bathroom mirror, out another window"
GM says, "eventually she's surveyed most of the ship (at least, the lit bits)"
GM says, "you've found what must be Fisher's cabin, since it's the biggest and has a small wall-safe in it"
Alison says, "And this part is the shooting game, and there's the tilt-a-whirl, and this part here is the ticket booth..."
GM says, "along with a small desk (even in a big cabin, there's not much room)"
Alison swirls the sand around and around the 'tilt-a-whirl' part.
GM says, "but no visible maps"
Emily arrives, looking for booty.
GM asks (of Stella), "want to look for anything else, or bounce back?"
Stella contacts you to let you know she's had no luck, and suggests the wind avatar take over.  Wind may go where light may not, perhaps.
[nobilis] Tyoka says, "now we'd need Gerry"
Chaz asks (of Stella), "Was anyone in the room?"
GM says, "(also, the cabin is unoccupied, and the only window points out to sea)"
Chaz thought-projects to Stella "If there's nobody there, just stop when you're in, and check the desk, and have Gerry walk you through opening the safe."
Stella tries to materialize in the room, and tries to contact Gerry for help in opening the safe.
[nobilis] Stella says, "chaz's thought projecting is suprisingly auditory."
[nobilis] Tyoka asks, "where's robo-Gerry?"
[nobilis] Alison says, "Probably with us on the beach."

[nobilis] Tyoka says, "there we go"

Stella says (to Gerry), "It looks like <inserts thought picture of the safe>."
GM says, "er"
Stella takes the brief communication time to look more closely at any maps/papers lying about.
(From GM) Gerry . o O ( They're programmed with a six-number code -- I could tell what it is if I could be there, but not from here. Have you looked around to see if the code's written down anywhere? )
[Crows-Nest] Davey says, "poor GM. But I'm glad he lets hors-de-compat PCs to do stuff"
[Crows-Nest] Davey says, "s/compat/combat/"
Stella asks (of Gerry), "I'm searching the room, some.  Any suggestions on where codes might be hidden?"
GM says (to Stella), "well, the desk is cleared, but it has drawers"
Alison pokes at the sand, "And here's the place where Shagapir disappeared behind the pole and I didn't, and here's the ball-toss, and here's the bearded lady's trailer..."
Stella says (to Gerry), "Right, that's where I'm looking at, now."
(From GM) Gerry . o O ( Well, sometimes people write down codes in their diaries, or on notepads on the desk, or on post-it notes )
[Crows-Nest] Davey asks, "would any of us be able to tell what buttons are frequently pushed?"
Stella shuffles rapidly through wodges of papers.
[Crows-Nest] GM says, "that's an interesting idea"
Stella mentally transmits pictures of everything, in hopes someone else might notice something key.
[Crows-Nest] DavidW asks, "Oh, like only some buttons have fingerprints on them?"
[nobilis] Tyoka asks, "how quickly could I learn swimming if I wanted to?"
[Crows-Nest] GM says, "I guess it'd be a level-4 aspect miracle, or some kind of relevant domain divination"
[nobilis] Alison asks, "If you can fly, wouldn't that work in water?"
[nobilis] Tyoka says, "like a torpedo? could be"
GM says, "(mental communication isn't exactly telepathy -- it's just words, no real pictures)"
[nobilis] GM says, "I think so, yeah"
[nobilis] Stella says, "oh, then I'm telling them everything I see."
Alison . o O ( Did you look in the drawers? )
GM says, "Stella flips through stuff -- there are notes on other expeditions, some old maps, a bunch of "we tried here and this didn't work" notes -- oh, and footsteps coming down the corridor"
Stella says (to Alison), "Yup, I checked the drawers.  Hang on, gotta shift."
[nobilis] Alison exclaims, "Quick, turn into an unobtrusive desklamp!"
Stella shifts back to light, and starts bouncing around the room.
GM says, "the footsteps pause for a moment at the door, then continue on"
Tyoka . o O ( there goes the opportunity of seeing someone open the safe )
Stella shifts back.
Chaz . o O ( Anything about a mailbox? )
Davey grinds his teeth, feeling useless
Alison . o O ( Is there a trash can? I always throw away important things when i'm not paying attention... )
GM says, "right, hrm, that's about all for the desk -- oh, except a rather nice paperweight in the back end of the desk, made of solid gold and shaped like a dragon"
Stella looks through every possible thing that could be written on.
GM says, "you do find an explanation for the mailbox -- apparently it's a device that pumps water down to force away the silt and make the seafloor visible"
Stella examines the dragon.
GM says, "ooh, shiny"
Alison gets up from her sand-carnival. "There, done!"
[Crows-Nest] Tyoka says, "man, I'm totally pumped up"
GM says, "...but nothing else in the desk of note"
[Crows-Nest] Tyoka says, "excellent session"
GM says, "more footsteps"
Tyoka admires the carnival dutifully
[nobilis] Stella asks, "is it a chinese dragon?  An emperor dragon, perhaps?"
[nobilis] GM says, "it's a standard western dragon"
[nobilis] Tyoka says (to stella), "change!"
Stella puts everything back, really fast, and shifts.
GM says, "the door-handle rattles, but it seems to be locked, and the footsteps eventually continue on again"
Alison . o O ( Did you try 1-2-3-4-5-6? )
Stella says (to All), "I'm coming back, unless there are other ideas for safe-access."
Tyoka . o O ( and change the code on my space cleaner )
Chaz . o O ( Hey, Stella--does that window open? )
[Crows-Nest] DavidW says, "I'd look on the underside of objects, like the dragon and the desk drawers."
[nobilis] Davey asks, "what's it cost to do a major divination out of your Realm?"
Stella check the window after trying the 123456 code of the safe.
[nobilis] Davey asks, "and could Gerry do a Divination to learn to code?"
Alison asks (of Chaz), "Were there any numbers in the books?"
[nobilis] Davey says, "not Realm, I mean, Domain"
[nobilis] Davey says, "and the code"
[nobilis] Alison says, "I think inky said he could if he were in there."
GM says, "it opens if you want it"
[nobilis] GM says, "yeah, it'd be a minor divination if he's in the room"
[nobilis] GM says, "or if he'd seen it before"
Davey fishermen still here?
[nobilis] GM says, "but just knowing about it would require a major divination, which is a 5"
GM says, "yes"
Davey tries to think of a diversion
[nobilis] Alison says, "(Or if Chaz is idle, anyone else who read the books)"
Alison asks, "What year did it sink?"
Davey says, "16-summat"
GM says, "1622"
Davey says, "maybe it's something to do with his relationship to Treasure"
[Crows-Nest] DavidW asks, "And the year to multiply that with would be... what?"
Alison asks, "Maybe it's the date. Are the month and the day and the year all together six numbers?"
GM says, "as the sun starts to set, people are packing up their stuff and wandering off the pier"
Davey says, "great. Maybe now someonw flying can sneak Gerry over to that window"
[Crows-Nest] DavidW asks, "If the sun sets, is Stella going to be trapped on the boat?"
GM says, "it sank on september 6th"
Chaz . o O ( Any numbers on that dragon?  Number of scales, number of claws, maker's mark? )
[Crows-Nest] Alison says, "She's Elemental, right? So she can probably still turn into light..."
[Crows-Nest] GM says, "no, but she'll be more noticeable coming back"
Tyoka says, "so it could be 961622"
Tyoka says, "or 691622"
Alison . o O ( How about one six twotwo oneone? )
GM says, "(no numbers)"
Stella says (to Chaz), "I examined the dragon pretty carefully."
[Crows-Nest] Alison says, "(Er, sorry, that's september, not November)"
Tyoka asks (of GM), "alphanumeric keyboard?"
GM says, "just numeric"
Stella says, "I'll try the combos you suggested . . . one second.  I need to get out of here in the next little bit."
Alison . o O ( I mean, one six twotwo nine six. )
Tyoka says, "oh, on the dragon"
GM says, "beep beep beep beep beep beep buzz beep beep beep beep beep beep ding"
Tyoka says, "yay!"
GM says, "with the second attempt the safe clicks slightly and you hear the catch release"
Alison exclaims, "Yay!"
Stella searches everything, really, really, fast.
GM says, "(and good, because the footsteps are coming back for a third pass)"
GM says, "quickly Stella flips through the papers in the safe, which do indeed include charts locating the ship and notes as to approximate depth and landmarks and so on"
Tyoka says, "wahey"
Davey says, "whee"
[Crows-Nest] DavidW says, "yeah. But now do this again, underwater, in the other boat."
GM says, "the footsteps stop by the door again, and this time there's a tenative knock"
Tyoka . o O ( now get the blankity blank out )
Stella commits everything to memory, takes mental pictures, relays info back to all, etc.
GM says, "(right, you all know where it is now)"
Davey says, "woot"
Alison exclaims, "Let's go!"
Stella puts everything back (vite, vite, vite) and shifts back out the window.
GM says, "zzzap"
maga arrives, looking for booty.
Alison exclaims, "We can get a jetski, right? And we can go out there and find the boat now!"
Tyoka removes his shirt, revealing an impressive pattern of tatoos and decorative scars.
GM says, "the few remaining people on the beach watch as the last rays of the setting sun seem to be practically touching the beach"
Alison does a little dance around the sand-carnival.
GM says, "and then Stella walks out from behind a dune"
Davey admires the Mythical view
[Crows-Nest] Alison says (to GM), "Hee, yay"
[nobilis] Stella exclaims, "whoohoo!"
[Crows-Nest] DavidW says, "yay"
Tyoka says (to Alison), "no need for a jetski, Alis"
GM says, "in the mythical view, of course, the sun is sinking dying back into its grave, its flames dying"
Davey mulls over which models of cars would survive sinking a few hundred feet
Tyoka says, "we's faster than this"
GM says, "(good, because the jetski place is probably closed by now)"
Davey says, "wicked"
maga feels good; it's a fine day; the way the sun, hits off the runway.
GM says, "also, dying"
Chaz says, "If my skateboard is +a few, I can probably ride the currents."
Tyoka asks, "anyone else comin'?" while stepping out of his jeans.
[nobilis] Chaz asks, "How far down the coast is it?"
Davey says, "I'll watch, I can't be much good all the wazy down there"
[nobilis] Tyoka asks, "all of us with flying can just torpedo there, right?"
Alison giggles at Tyoka, sans pants.
GM says, "it's relatively close to shore"
Tyoka says (to Alis), "hey!"
Davey . o O ( mebbe one a them new electric cars...nah, just get bogged in the muck )
[nobilis] Tyoka asks, "does Gerry have flying?"
Stella says (to Davey), "Could you be a duck?  A land/water vehicle?  They can handle highways."
Alison says, "Davey could be a biiiig orange barrel."
[nobilis] GM says, "I don't believe so"
Tyoka asks, "do we need everyone to go?"
Alison says, "I only wanna go if I getta jetski."
Tyoka says, "hurry up, I'm freezin' here"
Davey says, "huh. I'll have to try that"
[nobilis] GM says, "he's got aspect 2, though, so he can presumably just hold his breath"
[nobilis] GM says, "(if you guys have some way of getting him out there)"
Davey says, "are you gonna open the safe down there? I don't think the map'll stand it"
Tyoka says, "hmm, good point"
Chaz says, "The main thing is to keep the map dry, right."
Davey says, "hey, the highway system was invented so tanks could go anywhere. Maybe a hovercraft is in my Domain"
Davey tries to do a hovercraft
GM says, "fine by me"
Davey says, "w00t"
Tyoka says, "I can dive there, but can't carry the safe"
Davey putts out over the water, extending a handy ladder
Alison asks (of Dolly), "They're all being very boring right now, aren't they?"
Davey farts exhaust in Alison's general direction
GM says, "ok -- Gerry riding on Davey and most other people getting there elsewise, you are now directly above the wreck"
Davey . o O ( I hope there ain't no sharks )
Alison sticks her tongue out at the Davey-craft.
GM says, "(which you can't see, since it's dark out, but you know where it is)"
[nobilis] Stella says, "I need to go in the next 15 minutes or so."
[nobilis] Davey says, "I need to leave in about two minutes"
[nobilis] Alison asks, "Should we end here?"
[nobilis] Tyoka says, "aw"
[nobilis] Alison asks, "And pick up at this point next week?"
[nobilis] Davey says, "but feel free to drive me around"
[nobilis] GM says, "do you guys want to end here? we've been going for a while"
[nobilis] Alison asks, "Or should Tyoka, Chaz, and I finish it?"
[nobilis] Stella says, "quit"
[nobilis] GM says, "ok, we resume next week"
[nobilis] GM says, "feel free to think of ways to bring the safe up :)"
[nobilis] Davey says, "cool. Fun stuff"
[nobilis] Tyoka says, "woo"
[nobilis] GM says, "(or get the map down)"
[nobilis] Alison asks, "The map down?"
[nobilis] Davey says, "someone may need to make a chancel run for some good chain"
[nobilis] Tyoka says, "we'll make A. part the Sea and fly down"
[nobilis] Alison asks, "We need to get the *other* map up, still, no?"
[nobilis] GM says, "good point"
Davey says, "anyway, off"
Davey goes home.
DavidW focuses on his crystal and fades away into a silver haze in the light.
[nobilis] Chaz says, "There is a wet safe, in which is a map we need to exchange, without getting either the old or new map wet."
[nobilis] Chaz says, "(Stella was kicked off; she says 'bye!'"
[nobilis] Chaz says, ")"
[nobilis] Tyoka says, "nobody said anything about the old map"
[nobilis] Tyoka grins.
[nobilis] Alison waves to Stella.
[nobilis] Alison says, "We could bring the safe back to the Chancel."
[nobilis] Chaz says, "Tyoka Yes, Shagapir said he wanted to trade it to Vona."
[nobilis] Alison says, "If we can get it up here."
Emily disappears through an invisible gap in the MUD. You think you may have heard the sounds of chatting before the gap closed again.
[nobilis] Alison says, "Although that might take some time; I dunno if we'd get it back in place soon enough."
[nobilis] Chaz says, "Some sort of aspect miracle to blow a big bubble down there might work, if we bring a dome under which to work."
[nobilis] Chaz asks, "Welp, log off?"
Tyoka has disconnected.
[nobilis] GM says, "guess so"
GM has disconnected.
