Big_Jim says, "Normally I make my clients come to me, but this is a special case. Which is lucky for independant contractors like yourselves."
Sunny asks, "Not the kind of thing you'd want to post, then?"
Big_Jim says, "Hand-delivery is the kind of service I make my living on."
Big_Jim asks, "Are you all interested?"
Sunny asks, "Sounds simple. What's the catch?"
TonyThum asks, "What's the details?"
Big_Jim says, "It's fairly simple. A large ship bound for Vancouver will be stopping for the night just outside the harbor here. While it's stopped, it'll launch a boat which will meet you down at a certain pier."
Big_Jim says, "You meet the courier, take the goods, and get them over to my client, in Redmond."
Big_Jim says, "The meet at the docks is scheduled for 2 am."
Big_Jim says, "All you do is drive across town with two boxes."
Emvee asks, "Why's it more special than other stuff?"

Sunny whips her pistol to bear on the remaining go-ganger by her side and goes for the easier shot.

[Crows-Nest] Maxwell says, "seems death comes rather suddenly in this game"

Sunny doesn't even wait to watch him fall; she decelerates and turns the bike around to go after Rony.
[Crows-Nest] Sunny says, "well, point-blank with a gigantic pistol"
[shadowrun] GM says, "and combat is now over, everyone act freely"
[Crows-Nest] RoboTony says, "if you're not wearing armor guns are bad news"
[Crows-Nest] Emvee says, "I'd like to point out that my ganger will merely have a medium physical wound and a bunch of stun when he wakes up tomorrow morning."
Emvee swings back around to brake next to Tony.
Emvee asks, "Need a lift?"
RoboTony says, "nice riding"
RoboTony climbs on
RoboTony says, "I ought to take some lessons from you"
Sunny pulls up beside the other two. "You okay? That was some spill you took."
Sunny, trying to calm her shaking hands, holsters her gun.
Emvee says, "Helps to ride somethin' tiny and finicky. Y'*have* t'learn to stay on with those things."
RoboTony says, "yeah, s'cool, I got a tough hide"
RoboTony asks, "packages ok?"
[shadowrun] Sunny says (to Emvee), "ha ha"
RoboTony takes a look at his
[shadowrun] GM says, "they're fine"
Sunny says, "This one's fine, as far as I can tell."
RoboTony says, "good stuff"
RoboTony says, "well, then, I believe we got a delivery to make"
RoboTony revs up and heads out.
GM says, "You drive the rest of the way to the delivery point with no problems."
GM says, "Although everytime you hear a noise you all tense up."
[Crows-Nest] (from Emvee) GM says, "Roll Bike(4) to not fall off when you tense up."
[Crows-Nest] Maxwell says, "hee hee hee"
[shadowrun] Emvee asks, "Oh, should I roll durability?"
[Crows-Nest] Sunny says, "heh"
[shadowrun] GM says, "yeah, do that"

RoboTony pulls up.
RoboTony asks, "so what's the drill? we just call the guy's name?"
Emvee calls (not nearly loudly enough), "Kolmetz?"
Sunny asks, "Hi? Kolmetz?"
Kolmetz walks out of an alleyway.
Kolmetz says, "Hello."
RoboTony says, "(loudly) eh, Kolmetz! We gotta -- oh"
Kolmetz asks, "You have the...packages?"
Emvee asks, "You Kolmetz?"
Sunny says, "We do have the...packages."
Kolmetz says, "That is myself. I will take them now."
Emvee slips off the bike, so it can be untied.
Sunny starts dialing Big Jim as she unties the package.
RoboTony removes his package and hands it over.
Emvee says (to Kolmetz), "Th'captain wanted you t'know that 'e won't be able t'do that route an'more."
Kolmetz asks (of Emvee), "The...who?"
Emvee says, "Er."
Emvee says, "I thought that message was f'r you. Maybe not. Ne'er mind."
Sunny says, "Guy who gave us the packages," over her shoulder. "Said he didn't think the route was safe any more."
Kolmetz says, "I do not know ...a captain."
[shadowrun] Emvee asks, "Whoops. Was that for Jim?"
Kolmetz says, "Ahh, I see."
[shadowrun] Sunny says, "no, he said Kolmetz"
[shadowrun] RoboTony says, "I don't think so"
Kolmetz asks, "Did he... specify another route?"
[shadowrun] Sunny says, "I've started copying important things people say into a fraggin' text file"
[shadowrun] GM says (to tony), "you have the ear recorder"
[shadowrun] RoboTony says, "the guy was just in *disguise* as a captain"
Sunny shakes her head. "C'mon, Big Jim, I know you're near the phone."
[shadowrun] RoboTony says, "also, I wasn't there to record it"
Big_Jim asks (of Sunny), "Hello?"
RoboTony says, "sorry, man, I think this is it"
RoboTony says, "but hey, you got two of 'em"
Kolmetz asks, "he said nothing... more?"
Kolmetz says, "I shall have to... make do."
Sunny says, "Hey, Big Jim! Sunny. Everything's a-okay. Just finished up."
Big_Jim asks (of Sunny), "Glad to hear that. Any problems?"
Kolmetz begins dragging the first box towards the stairs down.
[shadowrun] GM says, "making me run two NPCs at once razzle frazzle"
[shadowrun] RoboTony says, "ha ha"
RoboTony asks, "need a hand with that, buddy?"
Sunny says (to Big_Jim), "Nope! I am thinking we should take some motorcycle lessons, though, before coming back to Redmond."
Kolmetz exclaims (at Tony), "NO!"
[shadowrun] RoboTony says, "ha ha"
Kolmetz exclaims, "Do not come any closer to my domain!"
[shadowrun] RoboTony says, "I just like to watch him freak out"
Emvee peers at Kolmetz and his 'domain' astrally.
Sunny jumps, fighting the urge to have her pistol out and trained at Kolmetz.
Big_Jim says (to Big_Jim), "Call me tomorrow, I know a guy who does classes."
Kolmetz gets the first box down the steps, and staggers back for the other one.
Sunny exclaims (at Big_Jim), "You bet!"
[shadowrun] Big_Jim says, "er, ..Sunny"
[shadowrun] Sunny says, "I'll end the conversation to keep you sane. :)"
[shadowrun] GM says (to Emvee), "Same thing that Thurgun saw last night"
[shadowrun] GM says, "dark, weird, colors, you've never seen them in an aura before"
Kolmetz grabs the second box.
Kolmetz exclaims, "Wait!"
[shadowrun] Emvee asks, "Int TN what to read it?"
Kolmetz pulls a knife out of his pocket.
[shadowrun] GM says, "6"
[shadowrun] Emvee rolls 6t6: 3 4 3 6+1 6+4 1 | 2
[shadowrun] Emvee exclaims (at Thurgun), "Take that, trog!"
Sunny does pull her gun this time.
[shadowrun] GM says, "It's a disturbing, unnatural, inhuman color"
Kolmetz begins sawing open the box.
Kolmetz says, "You have been... useful."
Emvee says, "Er, yeah."
Kolmetz says, "You deserve to be... rewarded."
Emvee starts backing away.
[shadowrun] GM says, "but you're not sure what it means."
RoboTony asks, "yeah? you got something?"
Emvee moves behind the Harley for now.
Sunny says, "Oh? Good! Sorry about the gun thing. I'm still a little unused to, you know, fast and all."
Kolmetz pulls open the box, which appears to be full of simsense chips.
Sunny looks at the Predator as if it has been very naughty.
Kolmetz takes out three, and offers them to Tony.
Kolmetz says, "You will... enjoy these."
RoboTony says, "well hey, I won't say no"
RoboTony takes them from the guy.
Sunny exclaims, "That's mighty nice of you!"
Kolmetz resumes dragging the box away.
[shadowrun] Sunny says, "third note to self: when creepy scary guy offers you simsense chips, feel free to take them but DO NOT SLOT THEM"
Emvee gets on the bike quickly. "OK, time t'go."
RoboTony says, "something up? whatever you say"
RoboTony hops on the bike.
GM says, "Down the stairs, you hear Kolmetz open the door. Loud footsteps sound, and then the door closes. You couldn't see a thing in the darkness."
[shadowrun] RoboTony says, "yeah, I bet they're specially designed to have weird pauses in the sim"
[shadowrun] GM says, "and that's a wrap"
[shadowrun] Sunny exclaims, "yay!"
[shadowrun] GM says, "you made the deadline, so that's 6000 Y per"
[shadowrun] Emvee says, "Fun."

RoboTony says, "looked like simsense to me"
Sunny says, "He seemed sweet for someone so obviously creepy."
[shadowrun] GM says, "I'll stick around, I'm curious how you guys see this :)"

Sunny takes a chip and fingers it thoughtfully.
[shadowrun] Emvee asks, "Is there any way to read the content of a simsense chip without hooking your own head up to it?"
[shadowrun] Sunny says, "I'd think a dedicated electronics shop/person could look at the data somehow"
Sunny says, "This job paid too much."
Sunny says, "I won't grumble too much about that, but it makes me think."
