Helvetica

  • Geneva: baronial seat and capital, set among mountains on the shores of Lake Lorraine.
    • Geneva College, formerly Geneva Girls' Finishing School; centre of the action. Employs Gert, Hans, Arvid.
    • Schloss Shriftsteller, home of the Baron.
    • Mysterious Waterfall of Mystery (see: Elena). Apparently mundane, but embroiled in fate-witch plots.
    • Inn. Unnamed. Dead wagonner found here.
  • Mt. Schaedelbrecher. Overlooks the main pass from Geneva to Eisen; houses Saint Alsace monastery (from whence Brother Etienne, Cujo).
  • The Schwarzen: big spooky forest, getting slightly less spooky at the edges. Eventually leads into Montaigne and Eisen.

Montaigne

  • Sices Province. Economically reliant on timber and carpentry.
    • Bois-Franc. Closest significant Montaigne town to Geneva; about a day's journey away. PCs no longer welcome there due to prison break.
      • Home of Nicolette and her father, Judge Dupin.
      • Guillotine factory. One former owner, only slightly exploded.
      • Prison. Imperfectly escape-proof.
    • Mont Saint-Gabriyon. Provincial seat of Sices; about two days from Geneva. PCs no longer welcome there due to an entirely different prison break.
      • 5 rue Plumet, fancy home of Armand Chevalier.
      • du Sices mansion, currently uninhabited; former home of Lady du Sices. Chevalier has his eye on it.
      • Prison. Demonstrably insecure.

Eisen

  • The Schwarzen: big spooky forest, getting slightly less spooky at the edges. Geneva is along one such edge. Covers large parts of Sieger and Fischler, possibly parts of other nearby koenigreichs or even Geneva as well.
  • Sieger: the nearest koenigreich to Geneva, and its former owner. Supposedly claimed by Castille. At the far southwest of Eisen. Gert was born here.
    • Stahlfort: three days' travel from Geneva.
    • Strassenburg: one day's travel east of Geneva. Probably Sieger.
  • Fischler: a koenigreich just north of Sieger. Gert's parents are originally from here.
    • The Kleinberg: A) a small mountain within the Schwarzen, B) the lands surrounding said mountain, and C) the the noble house which controls these lands (and which Hans belongs to).
    • Karnstein: one day's travel northeast of Geneva, on the edges of the Schwarzen. Camilla is countess there, with her grandmother acting as regent while she's in school.
  • Wische: a koenigreich where there is rumored to be a secret enclave of Montaigne nobles hiding from the revolution. At the far northwest of Eisen.
  • Academy of St. Martin in the Fields: Gert and Arvid used to work here.
  • Posen: supposedly another nest of exiled Montaigne nobles. Gert lived here for a couple of years.

Elsewhere

  • Hereford. Profitably rural Avalonian shire. Cat: still not Earl.
  • Skraelitov. Largest province of northern Ussura, with a highly profitable beaver-trapping economy. Entirely fictitious. Inheritance of Rodion Rurikovich, who looks suspiciously like Gert in a beard.
