Turn 15
House Actions
- Shipping:
- The Space Whale returns to Elvis bearing 5 units of Hyperidot (because Arroyo needs more food (and refined goods, because two dinky rank-2 warships probably won't win this battle)). Unless we want to try to use it in some clever way versus Gwyne? Maybe we could put a ground unit on it, then have Thunderchild pretend to attack it, and have it ask the arriving Gwyne ships for aid (claiming that they're Gwyne-aligned and are carrying important secret Gwyne stuff)? And then if a Gwyne ship docks with it, they can pull off the same trick that earned them the Thunderchild? (But then how will Arroyo get food in time?) (And who will be left on the planet to defend the Seveyard?) On the other hand, if we do send the Whale away to get supplies and return, will it even be able to land?
- Fighting:
- Dark and the Duct Tape Special and the reprogrammed Gwyne chemical drones and the Prime Irregulars probably do stuff on Boumfadour.
- Jude and the Farlight Institute of Crystal Biotechnology and the Green Berets and the Elvis Flytraps probably do stuff on Elvis.
- Thunderchild does its best to ward off the attack from space. The Yowlin' Yoshis and Fightin' Fighters prepare to fight off anyone who lands. Can we do something cleverer here? Something that might at least delay Gwyne by a turn, if not better? Or maybe instead of actually fighting in space, Thunderchild might hover low over the Cavernous Region strafing any Gwyne ground troops that show up?
- Exploration:
- Raphael Helsing and his Reef Riders do stuff. Perhaps continue their exploration of Region 3 of Boumfadour (making it 3/6 toward Explored-II)?
- The Lewison Clarks and Bram continue their exploration of the Cavernous Region (making it to Explored-II and 7/18 of the way to Explored-III).
- The StarLight Survey Squad and KANE, having nothing better to do, explore a new region (making it 4/6 to Explored-I).
- Industry:
- Bonanza Region: Produces 6 units of Hyperidot.
- Island Region: Produces 1 unit of Chemicals and 2 units of Food (because they are partially evacuated).
- Ocean Region: Produces nothing (because they are partially evacuated).
- Bloos Wade Region: Produces 1 unit of Unsorted Crystals (with homesteader help) and 3 units of Food.
- Alshu Cup Region: Produces 3 units of Unsorted Crystals.
- Hau Ndogg Region:
- The Riju Tri-Lateral Industrial Complex processes 1 unit of Unsorted Crystals, 1 unit of Chemicals and 1 unit of Food into 1 unit of Bachelor Chow (a rank-2 refined good with a Food value of 4).
- The Riju Tri-Lateral Industrial Complex processes 2 units of Unsorted Crystals, 2 units of Industrial Kelp and 2 units of Hyperidot into 2 units of Inertial Focusing Arrays (a rank-2 refined good).
- Research:
- The Farlight Institute of Crystal Biotechnology continues researching.
- The Hau Ndogg Community College astro-polo stadium (and secret underground advanced physics laboratory) continues researching.
- The Boumfadour Institue for Ecology and Planetary Development continues researching.
- Building:
- The Cavernous Region is upgraded to Factory-II (shipyard). One charge of the terraforming device is used to reduce the cost from 25Mc to 15Mc.
- The Seve Ballesteros Memorial Shipyard uses 1 unit of Warp Manifolds and 1 unit of Large Energy Weapons to construct two rank-2 military space units.
- Landing:
- The Space Whale arrives at Elvis, dispensing all of its cargo. Unless it's still on Arroyo, taking part in clever plans of some sort?
- Trading:
- Elvis' Hau Ndogg Region consumes 1/4 units of Kooie Krysp. The Bloos Wade Region and Alshu Cup Region each consume 1/4 unit of Bachelor Chow.
- Boumfadour's Island Region and Ocean Region each consume 1 unit of Food.
- Arroyo's Bonanza Region and Cavernous Region each consume 1/4 unit of Kookie Krysp. Unless we want to ration this out, in case the Space Whale can't return in time. In that case, the Cavernous Region is fed and Bonanza goes without again.
- Politics:
- Depending on how Vefna goes, we may be able to re-open the wormhole right now and send a distress signal to the Empire.
