Production occurs as planned, giving you a unit of kelp. Your research institution starts production research; this will take two more turns of research to complete. The explorer unit is created for 4 mega-credits in hex M11.

* Dark: Training one level-2 explorer unit
Dark's assistance in training the explorer unit enables it to be produced more efficiently than before.
* Silentus: Begin research for "negotiations" with Krazybuys about loan repayment.

Silentus engages in negotiation with House Krazybuys and succeeds in delaying loan repayment by ten weeks (ie, 5 turns); this also avoids having to pay back a mega-credit this turn.

Your diplomats do a survey of the political landscape around the colony taxes, and determine there are four obvious courses of action:
* Get the tax repealed entirely (very difficult; will certainly cost more than the tax does on you)
* Get the tax lowered but not repealed (progressively easier)
* Shift some or all of the tax burden onto another House (difficulty depends mainly on the political strength of that House, and also (to a very limited extent) on finding a justification)
* Delay some or all of the tax (probably the easiest option of the four, but still a project)
It is also fairly easy to determine that House Gwyne was one of the major backers of the tax, joined by House Krazybuys and various other smaller Houses.

Turn 1

House Actions

Overall: Get on the 1-megacredit-every-two-weeks Krazybuys payback plan.

In the shipping phase, we don't have anything to ship yet.
In the explorer phase, there are no explorers yet.
In the production phase, we produce 1 unit of kelp.
In the research phase [note: confused on the limits and abilities here], we research more efficient/cheaper mining of planetary resources.
In the building phase, Dark trains one level-2 explorer (4 credits).
In the trading phase, we send one credit to Krazybuys while Silentus does sculduggery to try to "renegotiate" the deal with Krazybuys.
In the politics phase, the diplomatic unit works on renegotiating better terms with the Empire.

Character Actions

  • Dark: Training one level-2 explorer unit
  • Silentus: "Negotiates" with Krazybuys about loan repayment.
  • Diplomatic unit: Works on renegotiating better terms with the Empire.

Production occurs as planned, giving you a unit of kelp. Your research institution starts production research; this will take two more turns of research to complete. The explorer unit is created for 4 mega-credits in hex M11.

Dark's assistance in training the explorer unit enables it to be produced more efficiently than before.

  • Get the tax repealed entirely (very difficult; will certainly cost more than the tax does on you)
  • Get the tax lowered but not repealed (progressively easier)
  • Shift some or all of the tax burden onto another House (difficulty depends mainly on the political strength of that House, and also (to a very limited extent) on finding a justification)
  • Delay some or all of the tax (probably the easiest option of the four, but still a project)

It is also fairly easy to determine that House Gwyne was one of the major backers of the tax, joined by House Krazybuys and various other smaller Houses.

The colony possessions page has been updated. Please let me know if it seems incorrect.
